Got our move date!

Yippie....we are moving in to our new home next Friday.

We have been living with my parents for 3 months so we are really looking forward to getting back to normal life.

It's happened really quick.
We only put the offer in on 8th Sept, and we are moving in exactly 8 weeks later on 3rd Nov!

Can't wait!!

Oh you are so lucky!!!!!!! We had our offer accepted on our new house the third week of July, and still no firm date for moving (the people we're buying off did not have any documents or deeds or anything, so their solicitor's had to arrange to get everything, plus both their solicitor and my solicitor have really dragged their feet getting round to doing anything ! I've had to make numerous phone calls to try and get some of the info myself!!!) Now it might be Nov 6th that we move, but my solicitor is on holiday for a week and his typist is trying the best she can and has actually done more for us this week than the solicitor seems to have! (Sorry any solicitors/conveyancers who are reading this). I won't know until Monday, if Monday 6th November is the firm date, and then I'll have a week to arrange all the change-of-addresses with everyone. I've been so stressed out the past few weeks !
Anyway, Good Luck Karen with your move - hopefully I'll be sorted out soon!
