Got my tickets + reservations- NOW WHAT?

Got tickets purchased, reservations confirmed and all appearing in MDE. Now how do we use them?

Like do we activate our old magic bands with the tickets?

how do we add them to our iPhones or Apple watch?

what if we want just an actual ticket/card?

1) As long as your MBs are listed in MDE and show as Active, you’re good to go. They’re automatically linked to any and all information in your MDE account - resort reservations, tickets, ADRs, Genie+, etc. If they’re marked Inactive, tap to reactivate them.
2) In the MDE app, tap the 3 lines in the lower right corner to open, well, I don’t know what to call that page! Anyway, tap on Disney MagicMobile and follow the instructions there. There are videos online, if needed.
3) You can get a key card at the front desk of your resort, if staying onsite, that will function just like a MB. You can also or instead get a ticket card at the tapstile the first time you enter a park. Just ask the CM.

Obviously, you need to find your MBs, but you can check MDE under My Profile, Magic Bands & Cards, to see whether they’re Active or Inactive right now!

So once we have our tickets, reservations all linked to out MDE - does the Magic Band (showing as active) need any special updates, edits, etc to be able to use? Or do we go to the 1st park, swipe magic band and walk into park?

You can use Magic mobile on phone/watch instead of MB.

I use my Apple Watch for getting into the Parks. I still wear a Magic Band for fun. (As I tend to use my left hand which has my Apple Watch on it)

Have you visited the theme parks recently?
You mentioned having reservations but not certain if that means resort reservations and Park Pass Reservation. Hope you have both.
If it has been a while I would bring I.D. for turnstile in case the MagicBand does not activate the entry at theme park.

If the MBs are listed as Active and linked to the correct people in MDE, and your park tickets and park reservations are showing in MDE and linked to the same people, you just go to the park entrance, tap MB, scan finger, and enter the park. Bringing photo ID is always a good idea but probably won’t be needed to enter the parks.
