Both the Mikey shpaed ones and the rectangular ones.... What is the best way to display them?

I was thinking of putting pin backs on them and writing my username in permanent ink and fastening it to my AP lanyard...but it seems that may be hard to spot....Should I just tie a big bow on my Wheelchair?

I want all Dis'ers to see me!

BUMP No ideas? I really want ppl to be able to pick us out in the parks......Should I do something besides the paint chips?

There are a lot of thing you can do.
Make a head band with 4 of them. You will need a headband that has the sprial wires on them. Pull off what ever is on the end. Stick 2 of the Mickey shaped stickers to a 5x7 card, ( or old ceral/poptop box) and then CAREfull trim around them. Now place them face down and lay the top end of the sprial wires on them, in the center. Peal the other 2 stickers, and aline them and press them on. You will have a headband with "Antenn Mickeys" that wave when you move, or in the breeze. You can use an acrylic sealer to make them more water resistance.

Make a necklace. Same idea, but use a long piece of 1/8 inch ribbon. Measure how long you want the finished necklace to be. Add 8-12 inches on each end to tie in a bow in the back around your neck. Find the center and mark it. Layer the ribbon between 2 stickers. You can have as many Mickeys on this as you like. Make sure that you have the ribbon only about 1/3 of the way down the sticker so it will hang "ears" up.

Make hanging Mickeys. Take a loop 3-4 in loop of 1/8 inch ribbon and fold in half. Peal a sticker, fold ribbon in half. Press in place, and add a sticker on top. This makes a Mickey sandwich with a loop between the ears. you can use thin wire, but ribbon is more flexable. Make sure that you have enough length in the ribbon so the loop is at least even or a little above the top of the ears. These can be used as earings, or another way to make a necklace, or as pull tags on a zipper, if you thread the sticker through the zipper tab before you layer them together.

Decopage(misspelled, sorry!) them to something. A purse, backpack, shoes. But make sure you seal the stickers only if you want to make them non removeable. There are several products at WalMart/craft stores that seal stickers/paper to stuff. You will need to do a little research on this. But it can be done online.

Do you have a place on the wheels of your chair that you could stick them?
Or on foot pads? The handles?
Get some cheap lime ribbon and make a big bow. Or wrap it around the handles/arms of your chair, or even weave it in and out of the spokes of the wheels, if you can.

Hope this helped, will think some more.
The head bands with antenna can be found at a lot of party stores, and sometimes at a Dollar store. Or you can just use pipe cleaners and a head band. If you have a lot of them you could make a "crown" of Mickey stickers standing up off the end of pipecleaners that have been wrapped around a head band. Make sure you bend them in half, unbend, place the headband on the bend and then wrap the pipecleaner around to the top of the headband, twist, and bend both sides upward. Stick Mickey stickers on the top. Since you have both ends pointing up you could make a WWW shape with stickers at each top. Did that make sence?Hope so!
Best of luck crafting. and have fun!

DH had some laminated for us on our recent trip. He wore his attached to his camera strap which also served as a disney pin lanyard. I attached mine to my fanny pack. Didn't see any others, but we did get noticed by one fellow diser who spotted us and introduced himself. Bartman 953!!! :) (sorry if I didn't remember it quite right).

We just got them there yesterday, so I assume you can!

I will attach them to our AP lanyards for now. Look for mama and baby (ok, she's a toddler, but she is my baby....she's 4) in the wheelchair side car configuration!

Sherrypooh-I was just in Home Depot last week & my dd insisted on picking up her ears. In fact I was in the Waterford, CT one since that is the closest to me. So yes they still have them.

Where do you guys find these? Help please? Are they just chips in Behr's Disney Color series?

Yup, that is them! The Behr Paint Chips, they have them in Mickey Ear Shapes and rectangular shapes.

We didn't get a chance to get to Home Depot ( giving a shout out to fellow Waterford, CT shoppers) but we did get lime green ribbon and Walmart has lime green bandanas in the purse section. We did see one fellow Dis'er at Epcot. Agnes.
DH wants to get lime green business cards to tag people with. We saw a stroller with a green ribbon tied to it as we were leaving a ride. We weren't sure if it belonged to a fellow Dis'er and it would have been nice to say,"Hey".

My DH thought I drained the Waterford, CT Home Depot of green Mickeys a couple of weeks ago!!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

you know you can print on ribbon with most printers? so if you get lime green ribbon that is about 1 1/2 in wide you can iron it on to Reynolds Freezer Wrap( one side is paper the other a plastic) and then trip it to fit in the printer. or just use a some of the fabric paints in a tube or pens and write DIS on the ribbon.

If you don't have access to a laminating machine (luckily my scapbooking friend has one), you can place it between two pieces of clear contact paper. I think I might even put two of them back to back to make them a little sturdier. But first....I must get to Home Depot.

1st I have extra mickey heads I would love to mail to anyone
who wants them! also, what I did..2 mickey heads, wrote dis boards and my
screen name on them..covered the rest with gold glitter glue..went to Kinkos,
had them laminated together..planning to attach them to my mini backpack-
if you see me please say HI!
