Got my BCV add-on!

I am so excited! I checked my account tonight and discovered that my teeny-tiny 25 point add-on at BCV went through today I was only on the wait list for four days . Now I can call back next month and try for another 25--I just didn't want all 50 to end up on the same credit card bill

Yes, I've been on TSS email list for a few months, and nothing came up. Plus, the resale closing costs for that small number of points exceed the point cost differential, so I was actually better off going through Disney. My UY is December.

How did you calculate your point cost differential?

I bought my first BCV points resale at $94 and paid Disney $104 for my add-on. That gave me the $10 per point difference. End result--I paid $250 more buying from Disney, but TSS's closing costs on a 25-point contract are about $325. Not much savings, I know, but every little bit helps, and I might never have found a 25-pointer resale with my UY.
