Got an early birthday present tonight!

My 30something birthday is Wednesday and my dh was so pleased with his gift this year he couldn't wait to give it to me. In January 2002 SeaShelley and I went on a "girls only" Disney cruise to the Bahamas and I bought a 1.5 carat Garnet (loose stone). Well, he took it to the jeweler and had it set for me in a beautiful ring! He did tell me that my girlfriend gave him the idea- she lurks occasionally- Thanks Novilla It was a nice surprise and not the kind of gift I usually get! Just had to share!!

Thanks Dawn! I hear ya about "not the kind of gift" you usually get- I usually get a mall gift certificate... which I love.... but this was personal and special. I'm betting I get cookware for Christmas!
