I got a PIN in the mail yesterday so DH said I could go ahead and book. We're getting free dining and free one-day passes. I could either book one room at the Poly or take 2 rooms at a mod for $900 less (we don't like the All Stars.) The only fly in the ointment is that just last week we were talking about taking a cruise next summer big kids (22&16) were really getting into that. They love WDW but they are disappointed about not going on the cruise. The costs for 4days/5 nights on the cruise is about the same, but we'd want to leave our disabled son at home so we'd have that added expense plus airfare. So it's really not apples and apples.
So right now we have a couple of problems.I made an executive decision to stay in 2 rooms at CSR which we have never stayed at. The kids want to stay at the Poly, which we have stayed at, but we'd have to be all in the same room (5 adult-size people.) DS22 REALLY wants to take the cruise so I'm getting some flak from him.
Basically, i told him if he wants to take a cruise he can book one himself. He's grumbling.
Ack. I feel good about our choices. Our disabled son *will* be going to WDW which I am very happy about. He loves the World and we have a wonderful time with him. I am thrilled that we;re getting free dining
The only thing that *I* have second guessed is the one-day passes. I'm wondering if I should go for the park hoppers and how much more that might be. Maybe I'm just being a people pleaser. Truthfully, I wouldn't be unhappy if DS22 decided not to go with us.
