Google and address problem......

I have a friend who is a social worker who has been threatned. The husband of a client has threatned to kill her, She is on leave. I remembered from a thread here that you can google someones number and get a map and directions. Well I googled her number. And indeed got a map and directions. I can not for the life of me remember how to remove the number from the website.
I think I got the info here. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of it. I am very upset about this. This is exactly why google should NOT offer this service!

Here is the link to remove the number. I also did this. Thsi whole thing scares me. You may want to check on a site called www.anywho.com they also not only other quite a bit of info on person but also thier neighbors!!
I hope you friend has an order of protction on this creep. \

Thank you for that link. I did remove the number. No she does not have an order of protection as her boss does not think it is necessary.

Sadly, there is no way to eliminate this problem completely. If you Google on "White Pages", you will find literally dozens of search services, all of which will happily provide your friends name, address and phone number, and most of them do not offer the ability to remove you name from their database. The ones most people think of are google and Yahoo's people search, and I believe both of those will remove your info if you request it.

Unfortunately a protection from abuse will not stop someone if they really want to hurt you. Good luck to your friend.
