Thats what made Nescafe convenient, the coffee didn't sit around all day. So now will we get stale coffee threads.
With Nescafe would it matter if it sat all day?? It is a poor substitute for coffee. This change is the best news I've heard all week.

chartle said:This sounds great on the surface but how will they actually serve it in say the food courts? At the coffee carts there are people there continually making fresh pots.
Are you giving up instant coffee for coffee that maybe sitting in a pot for hours.

The FDA ruled that Nescafe can not legally be called "coffee"...

Do we have any idea or even a guess when this is going to happen?
I'm going to be there in 2 weeks and would really, really, really love a cup of coffee....
I admit I have no insight but I envision something like they have at Panera's or in many of our area gas stations that cater to truckers. They are self serve, in large quantities and little chance to burn with spills or broken pots.

Sure they can. They call Dole Whip Ice Cream. Something that the FDA does have regs on.![]()
Do they? I didn't think they called it ice cream. Hm.

All he talks about is how excited he is to go to CS at the resorts and get Disney coffee in the mornings. He says their coffee tastes different than anyplace else and it is just a taste that he associates as "Disney". That's his Disney thing. He starts talking about that coffee the minute I start planning a trip. Of course, this is the man who can also drink Beverly at Club Cool, and say "I don't see what the big deal is...that isn't so bad"Funny thing is that he is not a mild coffee person. At home, he grinds his own beans every morning and is extremely particular about the brand, and sometimes has some really expensive coffee beans on his birthday/holiday lists. I'm pretty sure he doesn't know he is drinking Nescafe instant at the Disney resorts. Anyone know what I can buy at the grocery store that gives him the "Disney" taste. I'm now interested in whether he would actually drink the stuff at home, or turn his nose up at it!

I've been drinking coffee everyday since I was 13 and own a coffee maker, Keurig and Nespresso machine- it's possible to enjoy quality coffee and still love Disney coffee! I will admit the coffee in the parks and restaurants is near undrinkable but having fresh, hot coffee with creamer "on tap" at the resort QS is part of the magic for me! Starbucks, Joffrey's... What's next??

Joffrey's Coffee to replace Nescafe Coffee throughout Disney's Domestic Parks and Resorts
I think this will make a lot of people happy. Joffrey's is much better than Nescafe coffee.

Thank goodness!Planogirl said:Does Joffreys make tea? Nescafe makes some brutally nasty tea too.
If not, there is always Starbucks. I'm glad to see that some of you will avoid Starbucks, the lines gets ridiculously long as it is!
That's good news. I love to drink hot tea throughout the day but that Nescafe stuff is so nasty! They have hot tea, I know for sure. DH was sick last year, got earl grey!
