Goodbye Nescafe coffee ... Hello Joffrey's

YYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

This made my day. (Which goes to show just how little it takes to make my day). We've been drinking Joffrey's in the parks for years now and enjoy it so much more than that awful Nescafe. And now I can leave my mini coffee pot at home.

I wonder if Joffreys' will take over the Nescafe sponsorships as well. Probably part of the deal?

I think thats the issue. They means a CM keeping up with the demand.

I'm not saying that Nescafe is great but it was a single serving machine like a Keurig. Coming from someone who has brewed thousands of pots of coffee at McD's it hard to keep it fresh and hard to keep it coming when you get a bus of coffee drinkers.

Just wondering if they are going to install some sort of self serve single serving machines at the food courts. I can't imagine a CM brewing a fresh pot at 2 AM.

The coffee at the resorts was single serve? Interesting. I never got any there..

*sigh* I will be the lone weirdo here....I really like the Nescafe. I like very mild coffee and that is just what it was. Pooh. Gotta bring my coffeepot with me now. :sad2:

The Joffreys blend might be mild, since its to appeal to a lot of people. You never know..

You aren't the lone weirdo, my DH is probably going to have a melt down over this one. All he talks about is how excited he is to go to CS at the resorts and get Disney coffee in the mornings. He says their coffee tastes different than anyplace else and it is just a taste that he associates as "Disney". That's his Disney thing. He starts talking about that coffee the minute I start planning a trip. Of course, this is the man who can also drink Beverly at Club Cool, and say "I don't see what the big deal is...that isn't so bad" :lmao: Funny thing is that he is not a mild coffee person. At home, he grinds his own beans every morning and is extremely particular about the brand, and sometimes has some really expensive coffee beans on his birthday/holiday lists. I'm pretty sure he doesn't know he is drinking Nescafe instant at the Disney resorts. Anyone know what I can buy at the grocery store that gives him the "Disney" taste. I'm now interested in whether he would actually drink the stuff at home, or turn his nose up at it! ;)

All the Nescafe that everyone is talking about is a liquid instant coffee that was mixed as it was dispensed. So yes kind of single serve just like fountain soft drinks but not like a Keurig.

So while it doesn't make for great coffee, it makes coffee available all the time.

Right. I knew it was liquid concentrate, but wasn't sure how it was dispensed..:) I got it now.:) thanks!

Glad to hear they're changing the coffee. That's our biggest complaint about WDW.

Thanks mcd2745! Chartle, it may not be exactly the same, but I'm still gonna buy some and hide it and "make" DH some coffee and see what happens! :lmao:

Do we have any idea or even a guess when this is going to happen?

I'm going to be there in 2 weeks and would really, really, really love a cup of coffee....

So when are they going to replace the fluid they call water with actual water? :lmao:
