My little brother was in a car accident last night and was lifelined over here to Indy (they live in rural Illinois). He has a broken neck (can move his legs and arms though), bleeding on his brain, broken arm, broken hand, bruised lungs, and I guess multiple cuts.
He is 16 years old and was in a truck with 4 cheerleaders. He was not driving but they were *all* DRUNK!! I guess I shouldn't be shocked but I am. I'm so disappointed in him. I told my dad to tell him that when his neck heals I'm going to wring it.
I can only hope he will learn a lesson from this. He will be pretty mad when he realizes no football next season. So, he has lost football (which he adores) and will have a long road of recovery ahead. Big consequences!
When DH gets home we're going to drop the kids off with my neighbor and head over there to visit.
Overall, he will be okay so the good wishes/prayers should probably go to one of his friends. She is completely unresponsive and they aren't even sure at this point if she will live.

Hoping he does well, and the others injured too. So senseless. Good wishes and prayers.
coming your way. I hope everything turns out ok for everyone involved.
and that made him chuckle a little bit.
Boys! I told him we love him and he mumbled that he loves us too so that was good to hear.
