Good view at HHI in a studio???

We are not very hard to please people. And we usually never request anything specific (except non-smoking). With that in mind, we have gotten the exact same studio at HHI on our visits which is also the handicapped room. Again, that was fine, but we would really like to try for a different room this time with a different view. I know all the studios are in the same building, but does anyone know a room number or good view area in the building??? Thanks!

If I remember correctly, weren't you on the main floor of the lodge for a HA studio? Try the 3rd floor of the lodge. We especially like the views that are from the rooms on the right as you look at the lodge, they overlook the "inlet".

I'm going to HH for the first time in July. People were telling me to request a marsh view.

That's right Simba's Mom, we were on the main floor. And we did get the exact same room. Which again, was OK with us, but we would just like to have a different view this time. Thanks for the suggestions both of you. We are planning on getting there early on Monday so I hope we will have a chance at getting something different.

Studios have a choice of 2 views- Marsh or Island. There are none with a pool view. 16 studios are in the Live Oak Lodge (buildings 11/12) and the other 5 are located under the GV's in the other areas of the resort.

Depending on what day you will check-in and what time of the day, you may not have a lot of options due to the small number of studios (1BRs are the same way). I'd just ask for an upper floor/marsh view and see what happens.
