Hi all! Does anyone have any favorite vegetarian options in the world? All of the restaurants are fair game- resort, CS, TS, I'd love to hear it all!! :thumbsup2

I loved the lasagne at Coral Reef - it doesn't look like anything special but it's delicious! I'm also a huge fan of the veggie burgers. Just stay away from Sci Fi Dine-In as a vegetarian, the marinated tofu was gross.

Columbia Harbour House in the MK has a veggie sandwich.

Backlot Express in DHS has a veggie sandwich.

Tusker House and Boma are good buffets for vegetarians. The Crystal Palace buffet has several good veggie options.

Sunshine Seasons in Epcot has lots of veggie options. The Moroccon cs place is good for vegetarians - can't remember the name of it, maybe Tangerine Cafe.

All of the table service restaurants will make a vegetarian dish on request. If you call ahead the week before and ask, they will have tofu on hand the day of your ADR.

The stuffed pepper at 50's prime time was WONDERFUL!!!! I am not a pepper fan but I would go back for this one.

Tofu at sci-fi was alright but usually get a veggie burger there. For Hs counter service I usually get some pastries at Starring rolls or a veggie burger at Rosies. Pizza is edible at Toy story pizza planet. The food is so limited at HS but worse at AKL.

For Epcot there are so many choices! I get a huge salad at Lecellier, its the only place I am ever stuf with a salad as I cannot have mushrooms.

Rose and crown had the veg. curry on the menu when we last went in Nov. It was alright but the flavors didnt appeal to me. I am not a big fan of curry, ginger, etc.

Chef de France has the mac-n-cheese (adult version, not Kraft) and I enjoyed it!

Tutto Itaila has alot of options! I had Bucatini Gratinati with Italian prosciutto ham, peas and parmesan cream with out the ham. Very tasty!

Coral Reef, the chef makes amazing veggie dishes if you call ahead. It was done with Tempah and I am drooling just thiniking about it! Best meal I have ever had at Disney, I wanted to lick my plate!

For Epcot CS we usually do Tangerine cafe for the Vegetable Platter - falafel, tangierine couscous salad, hummus, tabouleh, lentil salad and marinated olives. Very refreshing on a hot epcot day.

Or I hit the Cantina in Mexico and have any meat substituted with beans for the burritos or tacos..

MK is usually Crystal Palace buffet. Its very good and alot of choices for all of us. Since DD is mostly vegetarian and Dh is still a meat eater.
For Cs its got to be Columbia Harbor House for the Lighthouse sandwich. I wish it tasted as good at home as it does here! If it not 100 degrees I also get the vegetarian chilli.

AK is horrid. They should be embarrased about the vegetarian options at an animal park!!!! The Tusker House breakfast buffet is amazing but beyond that I am stuck with cheese pizza at Pizzafari for food or a bit of fruit. I am hoping the new picnic lunch they offer has no-mushroom options for vegetarians.

At the resorts AVOID the vegetable enchilada at Whispering Canyon cafel It is the MOST disgusting thing I have ever tried to eat!!!!!! Never again. Like baked beans dumped into a shell with more baked beans on top with a dash of cheese. That is not food, thats left over crud you put out in the dogs dish when you clean out the fridge!

1900 Park fare had a good buffet, love the strawberry soup!

My fav resort spot is the wave. The veggie stew is very good, not really a stew. And dessert was to die for, 3 (yes 3!!!) desserts on 1 plate. Dh and I each get different ones so we can try 6 of them. We keep coming back here, its good food and awesome dessert!

I wasnt too impressed with the cape may clam bake, just not my kind of food.

I am really looking forward to trying Sanaa on this trip! The reviews look very yummy!

My DD is a vegetarian and her favorite is the California Grill. They do a special (I don’t think its on the menu and you have to ask for it) where each station picks out a vegetarian dish. I forgot how many you are given (I think 4) but it is a nice variety.

Generally, vegetarians can eat well at Disney especially the TS places. When I make the ADRs I always note her needs and when we get to the restaurant they are aware of it. Some misses were at Hoop de Doo where she had a mediocre pasta dish and grilled vegetables and Flying Fish where there was only a pasta dish available that she deemed too spicy,

Like some have said, it's fairly easy to eat just about anywhere in WDW. My two favorites, however, are Boma and Tusker House; I was never full at any other meals. For a counter service meal, Columbia Harbor House's hummus sandwich and vegetarian chili are great and the Tangerine Cafe's veggie plate is fantastic. And I can't wait to try Sanaa on my next trip - they have a vegan and vegetarian menu.

Hello!

I just recently got back from Disney and posted my dining report here. I'm a vegetarian of course.

My favorite restaurant was Boma. All the chefs were so helpful in showing what was vegetarian and there was so much I had to get three plates just to try all the vegetarian items. They tasted so wonderful!

I also loved Rose and Crown. They have a new menu that has a veggie shephard's pie that is delish!

I had the veggie lasagne at Tonys on Main Street and it was out of this world, roasted eggplant, peppers, zucchini and mushrooms...same ingredients that were in the veggie cuban sandwich I had at Sunshine Season and that was awesome too

While DFi isn't a vegitarian for my own resarch we got the cuscus at Garden Grill and he loved it. He plans to order it when we go back in a month.

Beware the mushroom soup at Artist's Point. It's the best thing in the world and the smoky mushrooms are chewy like bacon. That's not the problem. The problem is, it's made with chicken broth. Oops.

The veg sushi at the California Grill is not on the menu but they will make one up for you. Amazing and pretty to look at too, it's a complete entree all for about $12-14.

Unlike some others, I think the tofu at SciFi is great. I also, love the tofu dish at the Brown Derby, and the veggie sandwiches at Backlot Express and Columbia Harbor House. I used to like the veggie burgers but Disney seems to be buying a different kind of patty now that isn't so good. I used to love the veggie curry at Rose and Crown but they replaced it with a pie that tasted like leftovers.
