Anyone has some tips on where to find some good selections that would't eat up all my points for the day? I'm really wanting to try and stay on as much as possible, and plan on bringing my snacks with me in my backpack, but if anyone has any tips I would greatly appreciate it! popcorn::

There is a very long thread posted on 2/15 (around page 19 of the Disney Restaurant Forum) titled "Weight Watchers and Disney". Maybe this will be of help to you.:)

You mean other than Applebee's? ;) I'm kidding.

I'm a 4 year member of WW (have lost 75lbs and kept it off somehow! lol) and while I don't go "crazy" at Disney, I eat in moderation and keep a mindful eye of what I'm eating. I don't do Disney dining any differently than I do at home. If I want a carmel apple, I'll eat it, log it, and move on.

Honestly it may be hard staying within your points each day (I used up my 22 points per day usually by 1pm! lol) but I'm sure with some pre planning by checking out menus you will be fine.

Another idea for you is to wear the WW pedometer. You're going to rack up TONS of AP's with all the walking.

Good luck and have a great time!!!

I am not on WW - but just a few suggestions.
Avoid buffets. Try sit down ADR's so you can ask for something baked and not fried, no butter & no salad dressing.

MK Bakery on Main Street had fruit salad.
Liberty Square has fresh fruit.
The produce area near Tower of Terror has carrots.
WL - Roaring Forks has side salads, with FAT FREE dressing.

Strict low-fat diet call the Walt Disney World main switchboard (407) 824-2222 and ask to be transferred to the restaurant of your choice. Once connected, ask to speak directly with a chef, and explain your dietary needs. Have fun brainstorming with the chefs about your special meal. If you give them enough advance notice (usually a week will do), most Disney chefs are more than happy to purchase special items to make your meal memorable. Remember to get your chef's full name and to let him or her know the date and time of your visit.

Bring / buy water botles and always have one with you.
Even a warm water bottle is better than an ice cream.

You can always ask for a cup of ice at a snack bar.

Bring 2 pairs of sneakers for all the walking.

Go to the pool when it first opens and do some laps (if you are at the S/D, there is an adult lap pool).

Use the fitness center , if your resort has one.

Great job on losing that much!! I have only been back on program since Sept. and it is a struggle every day!:headache:

I was there in December and while I didn't count points I just tried to make reasonable choices. All that walking sure did help too! I was very concious to get in all my water but as far as my meal choices went, I just tried to be sensible but didn't deprive myself of anything. It was my vacation and I enjoyed it but enjoyed it smartly.

Thanks so much for the great ideas, I just started 3 weeks ago and have already lost 14 lbs., I just want to make sure I don't lose momentum, since I'm really wanting to get this extra weight off, and hopefully for good.:)
