Have been to disney 4 times but have never really ate on site.
We have always stopped off site and normally just used counter service for a quick lunch.
After finding the DIS we thought we would give a few things a try, we are doing Chef Mickey for breakfast, Hollwood and Vine fantasmic package and had also choosen the ice cream social.
I hear this will not be on when we are there in June and was wondering if there was anything similar. What would you recommend for good place to have a dessert. We have two children 10 and 7 and would prefer something at one of the parks

Well, it's not in the park, but I think Beaches & Cream at the Beach Club (or is it the Yacht Club?) can't be beat for dessert.

Kona Cafe has good desserts but we were surprised when we arrived at 9:40 and they said it was too late to be seated.

If it must be in one of the Parks, I would suggest the Plaza Restaurant in MK.

However, If you are willing to take a monorail or boat ride, go to the Kona Cafe in the Poly; they have an open dessert kitchen. I would also agree with trying Beaches and Cream.

Another option is Ghirardelli's in DTD, next to WoD.
