I currently have a reservation from Oct 27 and checking out on the 2nd of November. I would have booked longer, but the 40 percent off code wouldn't go any farther. So.. the 27th is mainly a travel day as we will be driving straight from Texas. It costs so little to get a 7 day as opposed to a 6 day pass, so I was wanting to spend a full day on that Sunday as well as one other day at the parks. We also want to go to Kennedy Space Center. So... where would be a good place for us to stay?

what the price range?

to be near WDW you have expensive - Gaylord to inexpensive - Rodeway Inn

do you want to be nearer US/IOA or SW?

Try Cypress Pointe - for a one, two or three bedroom condo, close to WDW and at a good price, it can't be beat - it's no more than 1 mile from Downtown Disney, and we often found outselves at the parks quicker than when we stayed on site and used WDW transportation. We tacked on a couple of days at Cypress Pointe to our OKW vacation because, like you, we had a few extra days on our passes that we wanted to use! And it was great!

Are they like Windsor Hills in that there is a cleaning fee or pool heating fee? I liked the look of Windsor Hills, but not for just 2 nights. Is there a website?

Good rates for Cypress Pointe can be found at Hotelkingdom.com - no doubt there are other discount websites, but we booked through Hotelkingdom, and it was a breeze.
