Beware, if you think you are staying at a nice, clean hotel you will be shocked at how run down it is. My husband and I stayed here for a few days because of the free full breakfast and happy hour. The full breakfast is a joke; you have to ask for a pass from the front desk each day (they are not automatically given to you) and any continental breakfast is much better. The happy hour; the three days we were there, there was no happy hour.The rooms; just an FYI, this hotel is connect to an Econo Lodge that shares ammenities. The rooms are clean, but many things are broken. Our patio door was stuck open, our closet door was stuck open, there are no irons (it took 1 1/2 hours and 3 requests to get one), and the door key works on the 4th try (don't ask me why).The ammenities; the work out room is enclosed and no venilation, not to mention only one treadmill worked and the stairclimber. The cycling machine and the nautilus equipment were all broken. There were no towels and the water dispenser was out of water. The pool was nice, but the hot tub was cold and smelled like rotten eggs. There were also never any towels at the pool, so bring your own.Needless to say, we will never stay at a Clarion again. It is deceiving though because the entry way is attractive and looks nicer than it really is. I guess you get what you pay for!

My husband and I bid $30/night on Priceline for the Clarion Maingate hotel (on 192, AKA Irlo Bronson Highway). We just returned from a 3 night stay and we were quite happy with the hotel. It's an older property, but very clean, well-kept, and safe, with friendly, helpful staff. It's very close to Disney and there are plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance. My husband called the hotel a couple of hours before we arrived and asked if we could have a free upgrade from 2 double beds to a king--we ended up with a huge room that had a frig and microwave, couch and chairs, and kitchen table and chairs. The breakfast buffet for $8.55 (including beverage and gratuity) was a good deal, too. We would definitely stay there again for the price. (We have read online that people have successfully bid as low as $26.00 on Priceline for this hotel, by the way.) Our entire hotel bill for 3 nights ended up costing a shade over 100 bucks including tax.
