Best news ever: NBC has picked up Parenthood for a second season!

The sublime family drama, from Friday Night Lights boss Jason Katims, has been averaging a solid 3.2 rating among adults 18—49 since debuting last month.

I usually fall in love with the Duds that don't get picked up for a second season. I am really loving this show

Awesome I love this show and would be so disappointed if it was cancelled. That happened a few years ago when I was watching that show with Aiden Quinn where he was a minister. I can't remember why it was so controversial but it was cancelled. I didn't think it was that bad but I guess enough people complained. Let's hope Parenthood stays around for a long, long time.

I know on the Parenthood thread, we have all been concerned about getting into the show so much and then it being cancelled or not renewed. Now I can watch it and relax!

Love this show! I'm glad it will be back. I too seem to fall in love with shows just in time for them to be cancelled. Anyone remember "Related" from a few years ago?? LOVED LOVED LOVED it...and it was just gone.
