Good News - Anna and Elsa

I know only one person per family has to wait, but can DH and I easily switch ho is waiting?

Has anyone noticed that Disney says that the sisters will be meeting on Feb. 8 and lists M&G times but when you look at Feb. 9th there are no times available? Does this mean they won't be meeting after the 8th? I am arriving on Feb. 9th, I hope that is not what it means. Has anyone heard from a CM if they are sticking around?

I was there 1/28 and dh got in line at park open (8am early open) and was 5th in line. By the time I got there 930ish, they were already lining up for 1pm. I would not count on a short wait! Weekend before (saturday) at a bit before 11am they were lining up for the 4:50pm slot already. Park open seems to be the best strategy for shortest wait. And yes, only one person has to wait in line and you can trade off.

Good movie.
Good characters.

The site finally showed today that A&E will be meeting on February 10. Long lines, here we come.

We got in line on Friday 1/24 at 10:40 AM, were told we were the last family fo the 3 PM group. Actually, got in to see Anna and Elsa at 3:10 PM. So we ended up being near the beginning of the group.

For a long wait time, it was probably the most pleasant experience we have had when having to wait. All the families in line were chatting with each other in order to pass the time.

Eeek, not good news. I was really hoping the times would die down in the next 10 days to an hour or so wait continuously. Sigh. The things I do for pictures and signatures...

I would take whatever the CM says with a grain of salt.
We were there Monday the 27th and got in line at 9:15. We were told we'd be in the 12 meet. We waited in front of the door from 11:30-12:45 when we finally met them. I laughed when the cast member was telling people it was about a 2 hour wait. I BARELY moved in an hour and fifteen minutes. There is NO WAY that the people back by the church were getting in there within three hours.

I wonder if this furor will die down by the time I visit in May?:scratchin

I was wondering the same thing for October. I hope so! In my head, I just can't justify that amount of time dedicated to one single thing. Not for the cost of a day admission (ok, at 7 or 8 park days, the cost per day isn't that great - but still...). taylor3297's experience is 4 hours and 30 minutes. There are too many things on my "to-do" list in each park, and not enough time to do them all. Giving up that much time isn't worth it to me. (I know it is to some.)

I would love to see Anna and Elsa join the cast at Akershus. They rather belong there.

I took a huge on-line survey yesterday and there were tons of questions about Anna and Elsa. It asked me questions like if I'd prefer them together or separate, and which one I'd prefer to meet.

That really is not good news at all. :(

No, that's not good! They must be together. And you know, Olaf needs to be nearby for a M&G. If they can have a Marie M&G in MK, they can have Olaf, darnit.

no new Tink updates - spoke to several character CMS

- one was new had no clue

- one had heard the rumors and "had lots of people asking her about the move" but she didn't seem to actually know anything (or if she did she hid it well)

- three others seemed more in the know but would not say anything - apparently they are not supposed to let that cat out of the bag.

My best guess is for some reason they are not telling people which might mean it's up in the air (OK I am really hoping they put Anna and Elsa there so I might be biased). I can't think of a good reason to "keep it a secret" if Tink is indeed moving at the end of the month.

I have no idea if Tink is moving but Periwinkle flies away on Feb 3rd and will be replaced with Rosetta on the 4th according to the HUB so Tink will still have a friend with her.

Lugnut, your post reminded me that I had gotten a survey a few days ago in reference to our DLR visit in December. It also had a big section on Anna and Elsa complete with questions on which I'd prefer to see if they met separately. I really don't like the sound of that.

Oh no! This really isn't great news, but I do hope they keep them together, I had suspicions that this would happen, but I feel like they're both so popular, it would at least make sense to have them in a set up like Tink & Peri, same "room" but different meets?
:confused3
They still were casting for the two of them, so there's hope there!

So glad I fly in on the 3rd! I hope I'll make it over for her last set! Haha. Is it officially only Rosetta, or do we have a chance of seeing Terrance/Vida?:listen:

I saw that on Kenny's site (after someone pointed it out to me) but I talked to a CM with Tinker Bell - she said those plans were on hold (indefinitely) - I mentioned Kenny's site and she knew about it but stood by her information. So not saying Kenny is wrong but it would make a lot of sense if they went 'plan B' and didn't move Tink (she works where she is) but did do an Anna and Elsa set up there (at least for a bit...)

I'll be watching to see what they decide to do - we loved meeting Anna and Elsa and would love to do so again in the future but would not love to wait 2 1/2 hours again!

I didn't state a firm date. Just that it was going to happen. Date is flexible due to construction issues in TST.

So how is this affecting the evening lines? We will be there Sunday and my game plan was to try an evening time and if that didn't work go at rope drop on our next Epcot day. Now that it's continuous are the lines still 2+ hours in the evening??
Night we went to scope out where we had to be, the line was still long and going strong at 7:30p, I'd say it was getting last of visitors thru but I'm not sure they would have been done before 9p.

so I've been told - also CMs have told me (not confirmed by me as we haven't been there that late) that the line is cut off at 7 pm at the latest (they will cut it off earlier by some judgment if it's a certain length.)
Yes during my scoping I was told line was closed which I figured.
