It's too close to christmas, are you ready, I'm not. lol

And it's especially time to warm things up. I really don't like single digit temps. No thank you.

Good morning? My van picked up a flat tire (unknown to us ) and went flat on I75. DD called her aunt who has AAA to tow the van to Walmart where it will sit until Wed when we get the money to buy a tire. So now we have to use the car which has a cracked head casket and stalls frequently (hasn't been used in a week). Discover that the car keys must have been left in the van (tried to make a copy of the key a few weeks ago, but the copy didn't "take"). Called sister (15 miles away) to go to Walmarts to see if shee can find the keys. If not pick me up to drop ds at daycare, me at work,take dd back to van to look for keys all in time for my work at 7:30 and DD's court appointment for a court investigation into custody at 8:30. Thank God other dds surgery was cancelled for today!! I suppose it could be worse LOL (because if I don't I'll fall apart!!!

Good Morning! It is so here in S. Jersey this morning as well. I have only bought one gift, I have been just about living in the hospital with dear MIL, she is not doing well at all.

I am going to try to get out today and get some things done. I am ready for Spring!

Good morning, all Guess we've got a heat wave here- it was 16 at 5 this morning! Shopping nearly all done, tree went in last night-it sure is nice and green, hopefully we can get the lights on tonight! Still some wrapping and all cooking, but today is last day at work so will have 4 days. Plenty of time!

Today there is a transit strike in NYC and it is bitterly cold. My DH decides to ride his motorcycle to work! I begged him not to-but of course he did.

Guess what? He just called me from BELLEVUE HOSPITAL!! He was in an accident!

Just a few fractures, he says!

I am so relieved and angry-lol!

I was so annoyed at my DH this am. It is not safe to ride a motorcycle in this cold weather. Reflexes are impaired and other drivers aren't expecting a motorcycle when the temp is below freezing!! He wouldn't listen and now he is lying in a hospital!
