To everyone cruising this weekend - GOOD LUCK. I was on the Magic during Charley, and things were messed up so I know how you're feeling, but it seems Frances will be worse for DCL. I hope it all works out.

It's really, really tough to concentrate on work this afternoon. I'm real good about knowing that there is nothing I can do about the weather and am probably much more relaxed about that aspect than most people. But, having things up in the air as to whether we will be able to get in on Friday, whether we can drop our rental car other than at our intended drop-off of Port Canaveral, whether we can get to the ship, and how bad a storm we will have to weather all can be nerve wracking.

I too wish good luck on all those sailing this weekend and would like to offer this one bit of advice....KEEP YOUR HEAD during this trying time. You are going to be in contact with many, many, irate, nervous, anxious, frustrated, scared, unhappy people in airports, on the road, etc. Know going into this that it will be a rough time for all.

DCL will try to do what is best but we all know they cannot please everyone with any decision they make in regards to embarkation port, ports of call, announcements, activities, etc.

Be the light in a dim situation....a smile can go a long way...you are all in this "boat" together..... pun intended!!
