I have horrible back pain from standing and walking, and I'm thinking of going to the Good Feet Store and getting some arch supports.

If you've been there and bought some, how expensive were they? Do they work?

I was wondering this too. The ads sound wonderful.

I have bad foot pain (plantar fasciitis) and have had several therapies, including custom made arch supports. After all that and nearly having surgery I found that the combo of Merrill Mocs plus a pair of Triad arch supports (found at any drug store) does the trick for me.

I have also suffered from lower back pain and posture problems. What worked best for mine was an exercise regime that included some water exercises plus weight exercises. The weight exercises were those to strengthen the shoulders, chest, upper back and abs. Yes, it's a lot of work but I felt wonderful once I strengthened up those areas. I've slacked off this past year and I feel the difference.

After going in and getting a price on them---Nope don't own a pair and never will.

The price they want for them is ridiculious, unless of course you are someone with an extra few (not couple--few) hundred dollars laying around that you don't know what to do with.

I have a friend who got some of these supports. She wasn't especially having problems, but she received an exceptional offer on these so she got them. She forgot to use them and I believe they she has discarded them completely. YMMV:D

That's what I was thinking was going to happen. They'll have to wait until I hit the lottery I guess.

I didn't know there was a name for it, but all I can say is Man,my foot hurts!!! I'll be doing all the things that were mentioned here to see if I can get some relief!

I thought the exact same thing when I went there. I couldn't believe it.
