Hello anybody from Ohio! I just booked flights out of Cleveland to Orlando for December at $123.00 roundtrip for our Christmas vacation. Get 'em while they're hot!!! One step closer to vacation!

Sorry guys, I forgot to tell you that I booked those reservations through travelocity, just in case anybody needs to know.

Did you book these on the web, or did you call someone? We're going in November and would love to find prices like that..

Hmm. Just tried Travelocity, Orbitz and Delta.com. I looked at leaving from Cincinnati, Columbus and Dayton for our dates (11/20-11/27) and the lowest price I could get was $191 out of Dayton.

Thanks for the info!

I just got an email re:those travelocity prices, also. I'm curious...how much did the ticket end up being after taxes, fees, etc?

Pam

I purchased them on the web site for Travelocity. I tried calling Delta direct and the service rep. gave me a price of $284.00. I asked her if she could give me the $124.00 price and she said NO WAY that I should jump on that price right away! So I did. The price total for the ticket was $146.50. So the five of us are flying for $732.50. Hope this helps.

Hi,
I just tried it and the prices came up as 213.00!! I just did a general search for no specific dates...maybe that price is already sold out!
But Pittsburgh was coming up as 163.00!

I just signed up for Delta's fare watcher and entered 150.00 for when to be notified. And that 123.00 fare showed up, so I clicked on it and it said "the fare has changed since last published". I am wondering if someone made a mistake when entering the price for that fare. The published price now is 213.00. Could they have transposed the first two numbers?
Oh well! Glad you got it!
Jill

Ok, now you guys had me all worried that my rate was not correct. I checked my email that I printed out and it does say 146.50 per person (that was with all the taxes $123.00 w/o) and since I still was worried, I called Delta direct to make sure we were on the airline list of passengers and we were. Thanks goodness! I TOO went back on the travelocity site and saw that the prices went back up. I guess these rates they put out are on a 1-2 hour block. You either book or you don't. I was lucky enough to see them when I did.

So are you telling me that all these flights were snapped up from now until December??? When I went in everything was open through December. How can that be? THAT many people were on that website booking flights??? WOW! I figured they only put them on at that price for a little while and then pull them. They had that same flight on in March for about $154.00 and I was going to purchase them then, but I thought, nah...too early...I'll wait...then...no..I'll purchase them...by the afternoon the price was gone. WHAT is THAT all about?? Oh well, good thing I didn't stop and think THIS time! ;)

Just curious, was that 123.00 fare for a non-stop flight? If so, was it on one of the ERJ-45 (45 seats) planes Delta is flying out of the midwest? Thanks ..

No, the flights are not non-stop. They are on 737 or 777 jets. In all the times we've ever flown out of Cleveland on Delta, we've never gotten a non-stop. We've always had to stop in Atlanta. Going down we stop in Atlanta and coming home we stop in Cincinnati.
