Good Delta Customer Service today!

The flight time that I have for my DD(6) and I has been moved a couple of time and had a new arrival time of 11:30pm!! I called Delta last week and questioned the change and was told that I would have to pay a fee to get an earlier flight. I decided to just wing it as I knew that was the chance we had when I booked the tickets. After seeing another change today (now departing at 6:00pm), I tried again and this time was transferred to the "re-issue department." After speaking with a wonderful representative there and explaining that I was traveling with a young child alone, she said let me see what I can do and she put me on hold. She then came back on the phone and said that she could get us on an 11:25 flight at no charge!!! :teeth: I had my new tickets in minutes. We will be landing in Orlando before the original departure time!! If I could have reached through the phone and hugged the representative, I would have!! :grouphug: I am so excited that we have a few extra hours at WDW!! I can't wait to surprise DD with this trip!!!

I don't suppose you got her name? If you did, you can call back and ask for a supervisor, or go to delta.com and find the "contact us" page and send an e-mail.

We (especially me) are quick to complain when something goes wrong; it's only reasonable to file an official compliment when the situation warrants.
 
Disneydreamer - I had a good expirience with Delta and flight changes as well. Delta kept making small changes until we had a three and a half hour lay over when we originally had an hour lay over. I went to Delta online and found that there was an earlier fight that we could take. I called and spoke to re-issue and they were extremly cooperative. They changed us, got us good seats, and didn't charge a change fee.
