Good Bye Tammy Faye

I remember my mother in law visiting the PTL community and loving it. My MIL is the epitome of a true Christian..she does not judge and she accepts all people lovingly, just as Tammy did.

It's amazing.. I dated a guy who had been a segment producer on the "JM J and Tammy Faye Show"..

And I remember him picking up his messages one time when we came back to his apartment.. the show had been cancelled for over a year.. but there was a message on his machine of Tammy Faye singing Happy Birthday at full voice for him. I thought that was terribly sweet.

Then I saw the movie "The Eyes of Tammy Faye".. and suddenly she was this wonderfully sweet lady full of hope and optimism. Sure she'd made mistakes but she knew that .. and she was hoping for God's forgiveness when she got to heaven.

I cried a little when I found out she was dead, because I always felt this connection to her. Weird, I never met the woman, but I felt connected to her.
