Can you use the golf club's driving range, or putting green to practice if you're staying at a DVC resort, and you're a DVC member, and have the golf membership, but not playing a round that day? I'm going in Sept, for a week, and would like to hit some balls while I'm there.

The DVC golf membership card no longer exists. You get about a 35% discount off regular resort guest rate just by showing your DVC Member card. The discount applies to both before and after 10 a.m. times. In Sep the DVC discounted price per round will be $55 plus tax.

You can go to one of the courses and just use the driving range but they charge you for a bucket of balls. I assume you can also use the putting green but I have never tried that when not playing a round.

We will soon be finalizing our DVC contract & DH would love to golf. I think I read somewhere that resort guests get free club rentals. Is this true. Also any other golf info or tips would be greatly appreciated. :cool1:

Resort guests paying regular resort guest rate ($89 a round right now during the summer; it will be higher in fall and signficantly higher mid-Jan through mid-April) can get clubs for no additonal charge. Free clubs are not avaiable on any discount rate including DVC.
