Golf Cart Rear Seat Question

For those of you who have installed a rear seat.....do they come with supports for the back of the front seat? Ive looked as closely as possible at the photos on line but cant really makeout whats going on with the back-rest supports. The supports currently on my cart are made so that the rear roof struts bolt onto it so a rear seat would apparently require a way to relocate the roof support. I was going to saw off everything that wasnt needed to support the backrest but decided I may use my roof from time to time. I prefer the topless look, but in winter the full front windshield will be nice and cozy. Anyway, how is the frontseat backrest supported once a rear seat is installed? And how do you secure the back of the roof?

Rog, my rear seat is all one piece, 6 bolts and the whole thing lifts right off, it is not tied into the front seat headrests in any way. Look here mine is Item#: FF YAM IVY ALM the fifth one down. There is an aluminum strap that runs from the seat back, to the seat frame, to the foot board.

Windshield and top are nice to have if it's raining of course, but also if you use the cart in the evenings..and there are bugs about...keeps them from flying into your faces. I have found that bugs are drawn to the headlights, making their way into the cart..the windshield kind of keeps them away from the occupants. Usually we just keepi it folded down halfway. We weren't going to add the windshield, and now I'm glad we did! Just something to think about.
