golf cart pick-up

Hi, I am very new to this thread and have a question.

I have been to the Fort before and are returning there next week. We camp at home (Ma) and love Ft Wilderness. The grounds are just beautiful. This thread has a lot of great information but I am a little confused on one point.
We have reserved a golf cart. When we were there 2 years ago, you had to pick it up at the bike barn. Now it seems that has changed. Are they at the area where you check in? I thought I read that somewhere.
We are staying in the cabins for a week and can't wait. I was lucky enough to use a discount code and got a good rate so I was happy.
Is there anything else that has changed in the past 2 years that I should be aware of?
Any help anyone can offer will be appreciated.

The pick up is right next to the check in area. You will actually see them lined up when you check in. All the golf cart check in and out is done up front now. Have fun!

Is there a new building by check in or do you have to go in to the front desk. We are checking in late on the 29th but not picking up the cart until the next day.

We have got the cart from the front desk the last two time we have been to the fort.

Then a CM will walk you outside to give you your cart & key and off you go.

If you arrive around 8p, can you get a golf cart that evening, or would we have to wait until the next day? Are there certain hours for golf cart pick-up?

1st time was around 6 or 7 pm we got the cart.

The 2nd time I think we got ours around 8:00 pm or maybe close to 9:00 pm
We had to wait till they had a cart returned.
