Golden Corral?

The one near us is loud, crowded and the food is not that great and overpriced. I've been there twice and that's enough.

I don't go there, I never go for seconds at a buffet so they are wasted on me, but DH will go to eat there when I'm out of town (he gets his money's worth and then some!!!!). He said it's very basic food, not great but not aweful. Best he can say about it is that it's never made him sick. He said if you're looking to eat a ton of food for not much $$$, it's the place for you.

My brother calls it the Golden Trough.-- although as the kids get older it is much easier to go to a buffet so they can choose what they want.

Golden Corral is one of those places that vary greatly location to location. If you find a good one, they are a good value and food is tasty. The ones in our area have all closed up, they started out pretty good, and went down hill in a hurry.
