Gold level but no emails from D.C.l!

I'm platinum and occasionally get an e-mail from DCL about new releases but didn't receive anything this time. They have never given advance notice of pricing for platinum and gold to have when they need to call in. (This is one of the pitfalls of this "perk" - can't book online, have to call and often wait on hold for a VERY long time and have to depend on the CM to look at various options for people because they have no other way to comparison shop.) I don't know if anyone is gathering pricing here for the cruises that open for booking Summer 2018 but that is usually a good resource when you are sitting on hold. Also remember you don't need to make a final decision. They can put the cruise on a no obligation hold for 3 days before you need to make a deposit. If you are moving a placeholder, things get a little messy. You have the same 3 days to pay the balance of the deposit but if you decide not to book that cruise, you can't turn the held cruise back into a placeholder.

No email from DCL or the 2 Disney travel agencies I have booked with in the past. However, I DID get an email from an agency I have never used, so maybe in the future I'll book with them.

I considered having my current travel agent put the May Transatlantic cruise on hold. However, I already have the April Panama Canal cruise booked, and I can't do both.

We hit gold level sept/2016 with our Ebpc cruise. Even did the $250 placeholder deposit. How come I haven't gotten an email regarding the summer 2018 cruises? Aren't I supposed to be able to book tomorrow? I don't know any prices. Am I supposed to keep the person on the phone while I make up my mind? Anyone else in the same boat?( pun intended!)

Platinum NEVER have gotten an early email!

Sometimes your mail providers see messages like this and treat it as spam, which is why you never see it on your end.

We just got off the Fantasy and while I was doing my OBB I mentioned that we never get any email notifications anymore, she checked both mine and my adult daughters and somewhere about 6 cruises ago, a travel agent had substituted her email address for ours, and she doesn't even work for that company anymore and we switched TA's some time back, the nice lady fixed our emails and we both got the notifications- we're just gold. So that may have happened to others, we never knew.
