Going to see Wicked again!!!

Well, I did it. I just bought tickets to take my family to see Wicked in Chicago on my daughters 11th birthday! She and I saw it here in July, and she loved it so much, she was actually in tears at the end. We figure it would be several years before it makes it back here, so I asked dh if he thought we could take her to Chicago for her birthday and he said yes! He doesn't even like musicals, but he's heard us rave so much about this one, that he and ds are going with us.

Now to keep this a secret until her birthday in January!!! We have 3rd row balcony center seats for her actual birthday. She is going to go absolutely nuts !

Lucky! We just saw it in NY last month and would love to see it again. DD is 11 too! In fact, I could see it over and over again. What a great b'day she will have. Enjoy!

I saw it in Boston and LOVED it, brought my daughter to NYC to see it and we want to go again to see it and bring more friends and family. Such a great play.

OH How FABULOUS!! DD also wants to go, but we couldnt afford the tickets - we filled out the form for the free drawing, and stood in line for standby tickets - but no luck!!

Now that they've extended their run in Chicago I should try again!!

What a lucky daughter you have and what a great mom SHE has! Have a great time at WICKED with your whole family. My 2 daughters and I were thrilled to see the show in New York with Idina Menzel playing Elphaba. The entire show was simply stunning and Idina was breathtaking.

Awesome. I got to see it earlier this year and it was wonderful. I really want to see it again, but it's coming back to Florida in a busy time for me. Hopefully I'll be able to see it.

I would love to see "Wicked" on stage. My DS and I listened to the book on CD on the drive from CA to TX in July and all I can say is it definatley wasn't what we were expecting. Yikes... I was having to do a little explaning to my 15 yearold DS if you no what I mean. They must leave out a good percentage of stuff in the book out of the production.

Yah!!! I am halfway through the book, told dd she can read it when she's 30 LOL. I can't even follow it very well without reading paragraphs over a couple of times. It's really nothing like the musical.

I can't wait until January, it's gonna be so hard to keep my mouth shut .
