Going To See Jedi Mickey In 2 Days

Heading to the Disney for Star Wars Weekends.. Its our 1st time for this event. Me DH and DS5 are going. Has anyone been and any good advice. We can't wait to be back home again... We are staying at Old Key West for the 1st time also.. OUr home resort is Boardwalk which we will be at for Halloween..

Be prepared for crowds. It was mobbed on the first weekend this year. The parade was pretty good, though.

We are also going for the first time this Friday. We're BWV owners too but are staying at the BCV, then the Polynesian. There are several good threads on the attractions boards regarding Star Wars weekends that are worth reading if you haven't already done so. I am totally prepared for crowds and don't really care about autographs or limited edition things. Have a fun time!

We went last Sunday for only a couple hours. We got there at park opening with no real agenda. The first thing we did was get in the very short line for Jedi Mickey and he was great. Very patient with everyone and lots of poses. We also got pictures with Darth Vader who was really funny because he acted the part. Whenever a kid asked for his autograph he would take the book and pen reluctantly. One kid dropped it after Darth handed it back and Vader just shook his head. It was pretty funny. Don't expect hugs
We went through Jabba's Hutt and bought a few things and then we left believe it or not. It was REALLY hot, and we live in SW Florida. I wanted to see the 11:15 parade but we had to go pack and check out.
I am a big Star Wars fan and me, my DH and DD1 all had a good time just soaking up the atmosphere.
