So my DH (23) and I (22) are going to WDW for Christmas for the first time ever! We are so excited. We were able to go to disney earlier this year with the in-laws but it's not the same as having that quality alone time with your hubby. (We have no kids) Anyway, we are going to be in the world Dec 11-14. Here is our plans.

Dec 11th- Fly into Orlando ~9am and take ME to POR. Check in and then head to Epcot for the day. Lunch reservations at 330pm. Plan on seeing the Candlelight Processional that night and Illuminations.

Dec 12th- Either Boardwalk or DTD. (Never been to the Boardwalk and would love to hear what you think about it) Then we have tickets for MVMCP and will arrive at MK ~4pm.

Dec 13th- AK EMH to ride EE,Dinosaur, and KS. Leave and head over to DHS. Lunch at 50's Primetime Cafe at 1245pm. Head over to MK around 8pm for EMH. (Yes we have park hoppers)

Dec 14th- Tour resorts to see Christmas decorations before having to take ME to airport ~1pm.

What are your must see resorts at Christmas? We are so looking forward to Christmas with our favorite mouse. Suggestions are welcome.

I am in! I have never been for Christmas, but I have been there Dec. 30th, June 1-4th & it was amazing!!!

I'm in! I'm going with DBF in the later part of December for New Year's, I definitely know what you mean about it being different with a big group of family members, haha! Luckily, we're spoiled and are FL residents with APs, but we usually just do day trips instead of getting a room or anything because of school, work, etc, so it's exciting to have a longer trip to look forward to!

I wish we lived in Fl! I keep trying to convince my husband how nice it would be but we are family people and all our family is here in NC. It will be nice however to have a few days just the 2 of us to share in the magic of Disney. Have any of you been to the Boardwalk? If so, what were your favorite things to do or places to eat?

I've never been over to the Boardwalk, but was thinking of going over there sometime this weekend when we go down for my 21st birthday, since I'll finally be of age to partake in everything, haha. Any place in particular you'd like me to test for you? I think Jellyrolls is in that area and I've heard great things.

I'm in! We will be at POR when you arrive. We will arrive on December 4th and are leaving on the 13th! I can't wait to suprise the kids with this trip. :santa: Disney at Christmas is beautiful!!! :lovestruc

I hear they have an ESPN cafe or something like that. My husband would probably love that. We don't drink so not to interested in the clubs/bars. Mainly just in the shopping and places to eat. Like what the bakery has to offer and stuff like that.

Just got back from our trip this week and I must say it was one of the best trips ever. Wee left bright and early Saturday morining for the airport. We went through security and of course I get picked to do the body scanner while husband just walk through the regular scanner. (Ladies all I saw each time at the airport were women getting scanned which really concerns me.) Anyway, the flight was great. We got off the plane and headed to DME. I started to cry as we walked through the terminal. I just couldn't believe we were here. As we stood in line waiting for our bus to go to POR, the CM jokingly came over and told us if we met Minnie tell her that goofy said he couldn't make it for dinner. :lmao: He was so nice. Shortly after our bus arrived and off we went. We had to stop at the Boardwalk first and then we arrived at POR at about 10am.

Once at POR, we went straight to the online check in desk. We had only a short wait. Our room was not ready yet but we were given our KTTW and told they would call us when the room was ready. We already had all our park gear with us so we jumped on the bus to Epcot.

The weather when we first arrived was overcast and about 50 degrees but quickly warmed up to the low 70's as the sun came out. We hadn't been to Epcot in over 5 years. We were both excited to ride the new rides. Our first stop would be Mission Space. DH is sometimes prone to motion sickness. He had already taken his Drammine that morning. When asked which side we wanted I looked at him and he said, "Let's go for it, I wanna do orange." We did but afterwards I really wish we had of done green. It was rough for me and I knew he wasn't enjoying it when I saw him grab the sickness bag. Thankfully he never threw up but as soon as we got off he had to sit on the bench outside the doors. A CM came over and asked if he could help. DH looked up and just shook his head no. He just had to sit there. It took him a few minutes but he finally was able to stand up and go outside to get some freah air. We found a bench and sat people watching.

Once DH felt better, we continued on our journey through Future World. We headed over to Nemo and Living with the Land. My husband really enjoyed both if these. We had gotten fast passes for Test Track before riding Mission Space and DH said he was now ready for more of a thrill. We headed over and waited maybe 10 minutes before boarding our car. We had a lot of fun on this ride. I had rode it once when it first opened but DH never had rode it. Unfortunatly our picture never was shown and we didn't have a photopass card yet so we didn't get that picture. Thinking about pictures, I remembered that we could get a special picture done for having a Disney Visa. I asked a CM where to find it and headed over to Innoventions. There was a line but it only took about 15 minutes to get through. We received our photopass card and when the curtain pulled back I just ran. I ran into Mickey's arms and gave him a big hug. I was so excited and almost started to cry. Pluto was also with Mickey. This was the first time I had ever met Pluto. I got both their autographs and some great photos.

After our meet and greet, we started to make our way to World Showcase. We walked around just looking at the decorations and taking it all in. We made our way back to France for our reservations at Chefs de France. We arrived about 30 minutes early and just sat watching the show they put on in front of the restraunt. I must say I could never balance on those many chairs. I would fall and break something :rotfl2:.
