New Years Eve Eve at MK
I know lots of us has mentioned that we'll be there. Come on in and drop a post of your plans, if you so choose. Maybe we'll run across another in all the craziness.

We'll be moving over to CR from POFQ. Not sure if we'll take a car over or just let them move our bags. If our room is ready early *unlikely, we'll car over for sure.

FP for BTMR 12:05-1:05
Then we eat at Skipper's
From there back over to Splash (temps permitting) 1:30-2:30
7DMT 2:40-3:40
By the time we are done with that our room will be ready so we'll head back to the resort for a nap.
Probably grab some food at Contempo and bring it back to the room and watch the early fireworks from our room, then head back to MK
We have the Dessert Party (Plaza) for the Midnight fireworks.
From that, we'll just play it by ear, hanging out as late as we can hang.

MK FP on 30th:
HM 5:25,
Splash 6:30,
PP 7:45.
Late dessert party this night. Snagged this just the other day! Hoping to still be up for the 1-3am EMH!

Epcot FP NYE:
Soarin 12:35-1:35;
Spaceship earth 2:15;
LWtL 3:25
Teppan Edo @ 6:40. Hoping we are up to make the Soarin FP LOL.

Magic Kingdom Dec 30th
FPs
Jungle Cruise 7:15
Big Thunder 8:20
Space Mountain 10:25
Late Dessert Party ( plaza)

This was a spur of the moment trip. ( booked everything the Dec 23rd :rolleyes1)

Dec 30 (our 1st day of vacation)
--- At MK for rope drop.
--- Straight to Space Mountain & Buzz Light Year
--- Two FP+ in the late morning for BTMRR and Pirates
--- Counter Lunch wherever line isn't stupidly long maybe back at hotel
--- Back to Hotel around 2 for a rest
--- Back to MK for a 5:20 FP for 7DMT
--- Boat to WL for 7:30 ADR at Whispering Canyon (stupid gags there but we love the place)
--- Boat back to MK for NYEE fireworks.

Plane arrives at 1 hope to be at the CR by 2 to meet family (may take a cab instead of ME - still debating - anyone know what the typical cost will be?).
Head over to Disney Springs for dinner RSVP at Rainforest Cafe
Back to MK to catch NYEE fireworks.

We take Uber from the airport often. Runs about $30, roughly. You can get fare calculations online

We were originally landing on Saturday ourselves. Then Disney announced the activities at HS and we realized we had to catch those so we moved our trip out to Friday and then we decided we wanted to catch the castle lighting over at Universal so we moved it out to Thursday

MK on NYEE

Hoping to make it to Rope Drop
FP to Enchanted Tales with Belle at 8am followed by PP at 9:05 and then Space Mountain at 10:05. Have reservations for my little one at Pirates League and then a lunch ADR at BOG.
Hoping to be able to get other FP Or go back to the resort to rest to then return to park for evening fireworks and other rides.

As to the bold (and assuming you have a smart phone), I would highly recommend mobile ordering, especially on this day.

Have fun!

Here’s a helpful website: https://ride.guru/

Although note, both Uber and Lyft have “surge pricing” during high demand periods which can add to the estimate you see on that site.

Leaving today and still trying to figure out my plans for the 30th. We'll definitely be at MK. I'm thinking about whether we should go in the morning, use our early afternoon fastpasses, and then go back to resort for mid afternoon/early evening break, and come back for late dessert party. Or if I should go with original plan of arriving around 11:30-noon and staying through until midnight.

We have
Jungle Cruise FP- 11:30-12:30
Buzz Lightyear- 12:40-1:40
7DMT- 1:55-2:55
Late Dessert Party

I arrive 12/30, heading straight to MK after dropping our bags at the resort.

Late morning FPs
Lunch at Skipper Canteen
Afternoon MK time
Early fireworks dessert party (hoping the show is Fantasy in the Sky)
Back to resort to rest up for 12/31!

A pretty simple, no frills plan.

We did 7/3 and 7/4 at WDW this year, looking forward to seeing how this compares.

Have fun all!

Planning an trying MK on the 30th.

12PM lunch at Contemporary (Wave)
2PM FP+ for Splash
4:40 PM for Jungle cruise
Find a way to see the 3:30 parade and the 6:30 PM Fireworks, which is Fantasy in the Sky
9:40 FP+ for Big Thunder

Not sure what time we plan to arrive. Currently working on a very nasty head cold, hoping it clears by Saturday.

OWD

By the way, I hope anyone who sees me (and DH) will feel free to stop, or hollar across the crowds, to say Hey! I tend to stand out with bright magenta hair. It also tends to mean I am recognized by many Disboarders, something DH has gotten used to over the years (yes, I've had magenta hair for years)

Land at ~2:50, get to AKV and check in. Get to MK around 5ish.

Dinner at Crystal Palace at 6:40, we'll probably check in just a little bit late and watch fireworks from in front of the restaurant if it's Fantasy in the Sky.

FP+ at BTMRR at roughly 8, 7 Dwarves at 9, Space Mountain at 10, then check in for the late dessert party at 10:40. We may or may not try to stay late, it really depends on the crowds. If at 12:30 there's minimal waits we may hang out. Staying at AKV, we aren't as close as our other 'home' VGF. As I said in the other thread we don't go into Epcot until mid-afternoon on the 1st so if we want to stay out till 3 I suppose we could.

MK Dec. 30th

Driving up and checking into resort around 10
Lunch at the Wave (12)
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad 2:00
Peter Pan's Flight 3:05
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train 4:30
The Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen at 510

We arrive the 29th

30th: Epcot in AM and the holiday stands. Early afternoon MK FP+; hope to catch the early NYEE showing of fantasy in the sky

We will be there! Looks like a bunch of us are doing the late dessert party. How fun.

We have BTM FP at 10am
Lunch at BOG at 220
Jingle Cruise 310
Space Mountain 435
Cindy's Place at 710
Dessert Party at 1040

We don't plan on doing much else so if we end up with a miraculous 4th FP, then great! Otherwise, our plan is mainly to eat all day and not die.

So on Twitter Disney is saying “Fantasy in the Sky” tonight at 650.

Great right at my ADR tim. I thought any fireworks would be at 630! Maybe CP will let us watch from the entrance. Have fun today everyone. My flight so far is on time even though it’s snowing good in Philadelphia.

We’ll be there! My DD is getting princessed up at Ivy Trellis now. After lunch at Kona Cafe, we’ll head over to MK to try to catch the 3:00 parade from Frontierland.

Pirates with a FP as soon as the parade ends
Jingle Cruise with a FP at 4:00
7DMT with a FP at 5:40

Then we’ll head to the dessert party for the early show from the plaza garden. Can’t wait! If any of you see a princess in a kimono at the party, that’ll be my DD. Feel free to say hi!

Hope everyone has a great night!

MK on the 30th (aka on the bus over there now)

2:20 lunch at The Plaza
3:20 FP for Splash
4:20 FP for Pirates
5:55 FP for Haunted Mansion
8:05 dinner at Skipper’s
10:40 dessert party with Garden Viewing

Only non-FP that is a must-do for me today is Stitch, since it’s closing for good next week. Otherwise I’ll just take it slow and enjoy what I can. If you see me (you can’t miss the bright, colorful princess tattoo on my right arm), feel free to say hi!
