going to MGM for the 4th have a ?

We have ressies at Hollywood and Vine at 4:30pm - Now if we head over to the park at 4pm and the park is full do we still get to go in and once in after we eat do we get to stay in the park?

To see the 4th fireworks at MGM were do you stand? Any spots you'd recommend?

We will be staying at BWV and really don't want to head to the park to early.
