Thanks everyone for helping me out so much. We went with my 2 year old twins to DL yesterday, and are going back tomorrow to DCA. I printed out all you gave me, and would you believe I forgot and left it in the car.

The day started off great.. Walked down Main Street, went to dumbo. The kids loved it. Then we went on Mr. Toad. DS was so upset the rest of the day. He didn't want to go on anything that had any sort of tunnel. He was scared of the disney train, the winnie the pooh, and wouldn't consider the boat since you had to go into a whale. But he still had his moments, and DD was scared also, but got over it quicker. They both loved walking through Minnie's house.

Anyway, tomorrow we are going to DCA. The first dilemma is do I get my brother a pass just to DCA or a 1 day park hopper.... We won't be getting there until 10am. Second, where should we go in DCA. I definitely want to go the Mikey Mouse Playhouse show, but what else.. I've been scrolling the stickies and some posts, but haven't found a must-do guide. Is Nemo submarine in DCA?

Thanks everyone, I'll check tomorrow morning before we head over.

Stacy Mom to Maya/Thomas 28 months.. no longer DL virgins

FYI, Nemo is in DL. ;)

For the DD2s, I would definitely recommend:
Check out Flik's Fun Fair (in A Bug's Land)
Heimlich's Chew Chew Train (I think the ride was designed for 2-year-olds :))
Princess Dot Puddle Park (it's a water play area -- do you have extra clothes and extra shoes?)
Redwood Creek Challenge Trail (play area)
In Paradise Pier: King Triton's Carousel
Animation Lobby (I've heard they have many small movie screens with Disney movies)
Pixar Play Parade (5:15)
Electrical Parade (8:45)

Maybe for the DD2s:
Turtle Talk w/ Crush (Animation Bldg)
Monsters Inc (say "hi" to Roz :))
The Aladdin Musical
Muppet Vision 3-D

For the grown ups:
Soarin' -I think DCA opens early (9:30) for Soarin' -- the lines for Soarin' at 9:30 are usually very short.
GRR (Grrrrrrr) - you can get a FP for GRR anytime
Calif. Screamin' - use FP
Twilight Zone ToT - might want to use FP
Toy Story Zoetrope (Animation Bldg)
Sun Wheel

HTH :earsboy:

SS just about covered it!

Only thing I can think to add is that there are 2 or 3 separate water play areas in bug's land. One (detailed in my September trip report) can get the kids DRENCHED. Be prepared. :)

I forget if you have a hopper. If you do, and if your kids might want to go back over to DL (perhaps for Nemo, perhaps for Dumbo again) I'd get your brother a hopper.
