Going next summer, what time would be better, end of June of the end of July?

I am making plans for next year, we are going during the summer. Years ago we went the week of 4th of July and it was hot and crowded (this was before fast pass).
I figure the week before the 4th the park hours will probably be lengthened. No matter when you go during the summer it will be hot and humid, but which of these two months would be better than the other?

If $ is a concern, check to see when Value Season starts next year. This year it starts July 4th. We are going down June 22 - July 5 this year - had I found these boards sooner and realized the savings of going two weeks later I would have changed the trip. There is a $45/night difference (rack rate) between the 2 seasons at the GF for a GV room. I did get a great AP rate so I am still happy to be going. Can't wait to try the GF!

Value season for deluxe resorts (other than WL and AKL) begins July 4. Otherwise, the rest of the resorts (including WL and AKL) are still on regular season. As far as heat and crowds go, the two are close to the same, very crowded and very hot -- end of June may be slighted more crowded. Hours of operation also tend to be close to the same. Neither week is as bad as the July 4 week which is traditionally the most crowded of the summer.

I just checked the disneyworld web site and according to the Room Rates page for AKL and WL, they also go into value season on 7/4 this year. (http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wa...omratesindex?id=WILDWildernessLodgeRmRtGrping)
Thanks Drusba, I hadn't realized that the deluxe hotels had different seasons from the other hotels.
