We are only going to the park for 4 full days.

so help us make the most of it please :)

I need to make a couple PS's but need to know which day we will be where :teeth:

we will be staying at HIFS and eating breakfast there, the parks close early so we will probably eat dinner there also since its FREE for the kiddos ;)

so will do their lunches at the park.

I have NO IDEA where to start to plan the days

thanks for any help :hyper:

You don't say if this is your first trip and what days of the week you'll be there???

But I would certainly do MK first as that is our favorite and it's just great to see the Castle and Main Street when you first get to WDW!!! But if your first day is Saturday, then I'd avoid MK as it's the busiest day of the week for MK.

Here's are itinerary for our four day trip- we have a 2 year old and we are staying at the WL....
hope it helps!

Weds- arrive around 12:30- check in- head to MGM(smaller park)
Thurs- Magic Kingdom (early entry) all day (break mid afternoon) back to MK
Friday- character breakfast at Chef Mickeys- monorail to Epcot (break midafternoon)back to Epcot
Saturday- Animal Kingdom/ maybe Downtown Disney evening
Sunday- go home :(

It's a busy schedule- but we're going to ATTEMPT to see as much as we can in such a short period of time!
It's all going to depend on well our DD holds up!
Good luck and have fun!

I agree that it would help to know what days you will be there. Many people staying offsite try to employ a strategy of going to a non-early entry park and hitting the early-entry park the day after early entry (did I confuse you?). So, for example, Wednesday is an EE day at Epcot so you would NOT go to Epcot on that day. You would pick another park for Wed. and go to Epcot on Thursday. I do agree that MK is a great park to hit first as long as it is not a Saturday (or possibly an EE day which are Thurs. and Sunday at MK). I know many of us would love to help plan your vacation (can I come?)!!!

thanks everyone :)

yes this is our first trip :hyper:

our 4 days are
Sun- Sept.26
Mon- 27
Tues- 28
Wed- 29

We're going for four nights. Sat-Wed. Did you say it's best to avoid MK on a Sunday? It's the week of Valentine's day/President's day so everything will probably be crowded. I'm trying to figure this all out. Our trip last year was perfect in every way. We magically avoided crowds etc. But, I'm nervous about never being able to replicate that.

Depending on the ages of your children, you may want to go to EPCOT first, so they won't be disappointed. If you go to MK first, the other parks maybe a let down.

I've been to WDW in Sept and Oct. the parks didn't seem all that busy. Pay attention to what nights the parks our open. When we went some of the parks closed early on certain nights. This also goes for parades and fireworks. WDW tends to cut back the schedule a bit in the fall.

The fall is my favorite time of year to go to WDW. Cooler weather and smaller crowds.

Good luck.

Well, you are going at a great time of the year to avoid the crowds! I think late Sept. is the best time to go! I really think you could hit any of the parks any of the days. If they seem to be getting too crowded, hop to another. If you get to the parks at opening, you should be in great shape. Since your first day is a Sunday, which is EE day at MK you might want to start at another park. If your kids are thrill seekers, I would suggest MGM for Tower of Terror and R-n-Rollercoaster to start off. Or you could hit Test Track and Mission Space at Epcot. I don't think you can really go wrong with the time of year you are going. Have fun planning!

thanks everyone :)
I was hoping the parks wouldnt be as busy :hyper:

the boys are out of school that week due to the county fair, so I figured it would be a good time, since most kiddos will be in school :)
