Going back to Windsor Hills

I stayed at Windsor Hills ver Halloween last year in a townhome and loved it. We stayed on Maneshaw in the block cloestest to the entrance and on the side with the pool baking up to the entrance wall. I loved it because it was so private.

We are planning on going back in late for 9 days starting either October 19 or November 9.

Which do you think is a better week to go? We've been in September, October and early December. We've been to MNSSHP and MVMCP.

We might stay with the same owner as last year if he has availabilty. His rates were less than others I had looked at and while his place wasn't decorated and painted as well as some of the others, it was clean, comfortable and the perfect location.

For those of you who have stayed before, can you recommend some other owners close to the clubhouse on Maneshaw?

So, 5min2disney, how close are your townhomes to the clubhouse area. We will be at the Condos this Feb. and might check out the townhomes for future vacations.

Hi, thanks for asking! We are here in the resort, it's about a 1.5 blocks to the clubhouse! We actually don't get there as much as you might think, it's so nice to have your own pool that we usually just spend time in our own pool, it's so easy to do things around the house and relax...my friends just nicknamed our house "lounge world"..hehe..

Thanks for the info. I'll check it out. This will be our second year at Windsor Hills. We love it there. We've rented a Condo in Building 1. It's perfect for my family. The thought of having a pool out back is tempting too! We only do a couple of days at Disney. Relaxing is also part of our agenda!

I keep trying to convince DW to spend less time in the parks and we seem to always do more park time than I would like. My friend and I were just there on a "guys" golf trip last month...and they loved my place so much I had the opposite problem..hehe...I couldn't get them to leave "lounge world!"! LOL

Ruby3 ... which condo are you staying in? We too have rented a condo in building 8! We are a top floor end condo and have a view of the fireworks (which I have yet to see at WDW in person as I have "early-to-bed-kind-of-kids" ) ... so at least I can have a peek from my balcony when all is quiet !!!

I too have looked at George's (above) and we are considering it for next year as well. I like the idea of our own pool for the kids!!

Hi! We're on the first floor. It's the same condo we rented last year too!
Counting the days. We usually do two days of disney as we have family to visit. I bought tickets a while ago - 10 day park hopper - no expiration so we use those when we go. Have fun!!
