Going back to where it all started- Sept. 2010 PTR

No, not at all! He's at South Station!! Btw, we looked at houses out in Lakeville before deciding on moving to Plymouth!! Where in Boston do you work?

Sorry, I should've been more specific. What line does he take to get to South Station? Or does he take the bus in and then the subway from there? I take commuter rail from Middleboro/Lakeville and get off at South Station. I work right by Quincy Market on State Street.

Kristen! 8 days! That's awesome! I know what you mean about "feeling nervous, unorganized, overwelmed, excited, happy and ready to go on our trip!" I'm really with you. So much to do, but no time to do it in. Plus, I'm overwhelmed, and I don't even know where to begin. (Started a list of To-Dos today. . .can't concentrate on my work issues today. . .just working on Disney stuff when I can!!)

I'm so excited for you. I'll have to recheck your schedule to see if we can meet up! I'll let you know!

Kristin

We probably have passed by each other at some point. I am at Target all the time and I am going again this weekend...last minute stuff.

On the storm front, it looks like we don't have to worry about Igor or Julia and they are staying out to sea. Here's hopin' that stays that way. Looks like we are gonna get nice weather this weekend!!!

8 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW....what else can you say other than that!

Congrats to 8 days!!! :woohoo:

I'm feeling nervous, unorganized, overwelmed, excited, happy and ready to go on our trip! Does any of that make sense?! :confused3

Yes, it makes sense because you're describing me right now!

I feel like we got some good things done this weekend....and I got to cross some things off my list!:thumbsup2

Speaking of which...here it is...what am I missing?

stop mail CHECK!
set up parking CHECK!
set up sitter for cat/fish
take dog to groomers so she doesn't stink up my parents house (tomorrow a.m.)
haircuts for everyone (mine is Thursday!)
pack
deposit rolled $ into our account
pay bills CHECK
pedi/mani for me!
tie up lose business for me (hoping I don't have to work in Disney!):wizard:
charge batteries for camera CHECK
shoes for me!
make hats for boys

Can't wait to see the hats!

I finally caught up with Tracey today, it had been a long time! It was so nice to catch up with her and chat about our plans, she said, she knows she had nothing to worry about and that I have everything taken care of! She knows me pretty well....

I bought Todd an anniversary present today, I have a feeling, a hunch, that he got me something, even though we say we are not to buy anything for each other! So, I decided to get him a Kindle. It's nothing he'd EVER buy for himself, and since he commutes to and from Boston on the train/bus every day, thought it would be nice, plus something that our parents can build on at Christmastime for him, too. So, now I have to figure out how to sneak it in our luggage and surprise him! Hmm.....I've also thought about ordering a cake or something but since we're on the dining plan, and get dessert, maybe it's too much, thoughts?:confused3

That is a great gift, I would love that!

On other news, I have talked to both the big boys teachers and there are no issues for taking the kids out of school!:thumbsup2 Ethan will be responsible for a journal of our activities and any academics will be made up later, so that's easy enough. Lucas, is just in Kindergarten, and she wasn't concerned, at all, she wants to sneak in our suitcases!!:rotfl:

I've been hearing some rumors of storms, I can't bring myself to even look at accuweather or anything this far out, I'm afraid to! Please send pixie dust that we don't need to even think about that!:wizard:

I'm praying NO RAIN!!!

On other notes, we got a GREAT call from Cole's allergist today!:woohoo: He has passed this blood test!!!!!!! We now have to go for the "peanut challenge" but they can't get us in until January! :( So we'll continue to avoid it, just in case, and carry our epipen. But this is a good sign!!!!!:thumbsup2

:yay: Yay! I know that is going to be such a relief to you if he passes the peanut challenge.

Hope you're all well!!!! And thanks so much for reading and being a part of my trip!!:goodvibes
I have loves being part of your trip

Great idea getting your DH the Kindle; that will be perfect for his commute! I told my DH that I want one for Christmas. It will be so much easier to carry around than books when I have doctor appointments, etc. :thumbsup2

I hope he likes it!! I'm glad you guys think it's a nice gift, it's hard to buy for guys for anniversaries, you know? He has a nice watch, that sort of thing, so IDK. I know nothing about them, so hope he can figure it out, i'm electronically challeged!! It seems like a really neat idea to me though!! Hope you get one fro Christmas, how nice would that be!!

He takes the purple commuter in or the red line, if he's using the T. Or he'll take the bus from Plymouth to South Station. Does that make more sense? LOL, he needs to walk me through it every time I take the boys in, so I'm sure I'm forgetting telling you something? LOL! Sorry!! Todd worked at 60 State until March! But now is closer to South Station!!

Phew....glad it's not just me, time is closing in on us all of sudden!:scared1: Hope you're checking things off your to do list today!!!

I'm so excited for you. I'll have to recheck your schedule to see if we can meet up! I'll let you know!

Please let me know!

We have had to!! How funny!! The cashiers know me at Target!!:rolleyes1

On the storm front, it looks like we don't have to worry about Igor or Julia and they are staying out to sea. Here's hopin' that stays that way. Looks like we are gonna get nice weather this weekend!!!

Phew! let's hope that's the case!!!:wizard: Loving this cooler Fall like temperatures, it's just GORGEOUS, isn't it?!!!

I have loves being part of your trip
Awww, Amy, thanks for being here! It's so much fun sharing with you all!!!

Can you believe I get to say....ONE WEEK FROM TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:tinker::donald::sulley::tigger:

I don't have a lot of time to update today and not much new here really. Today was Cole's official 1st day of school, alone. I did okay, until a teacher asked me how I was, and then I broke down....not crazy breakdown, but the tears flowed, for sure!! :sad2: I'm such an emotional Mommy!! I gave Cole a quick kiss, told him I loved him and was out of there so fast, before I was too crazy! The good news is, I had Ruby to drop off at the groomers and breakfast plans with a friend to look forward to. We both survived and he did great!!! And so did Mommy!!!;) It's just so strange to me that after almost 8 years (next month) I've been a stay at home Mom, never did my kids go to daycare or anything, so having my last one go to school is very bittersweet, I'm sure some of you can relate. And I'm sure in a week or two, I'll be LOVING every minute so I can get food shopping done alone, Target trips and Christmas shopping complete without any help!

I'll try and do a "real" Disney update soon!! Hope you're having a nice Tuesday!!!:cloud9:

Glad to hear the drop off went pretty well! I'm sure it will become easier and easier. I bet he's just going to LOVE it all too.

I can't think of anything else for your list!! I hope it's all on there. Laundry? 582 Target runs? ;)

I think you are going to be okay with the weather. I think I heard both Juliana and Igor are expected to fizzle out, they are both still a ways out there.

ONE WEEK!!!!! :yay:

WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:tinker::donald::sulley::tigger:

Hooray for one week! I'm right there with you.

:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Don't worry about being an emotional mommy- teachers/school staff see them all the time. We know it is hard! :goodvibes

Hope you are getting your things done for your trip. What do you have left to do? Maybe that will help me remember what I have to do!!! :lmao:

Take care! I'll check you schedule in a bit and let you know.

Kristin

Hi Kristen. I couldn't find your plans for Tuesday, September 28. However, our schedules aren't really that close. The only days we might have some time where we cross paths is Sunday, September 26- we will be at MK doing the Keys tour at 9am. After that, I don't know, but we will end up at EPCOT for dinner. Monday, I'm not sure what our plans are. We might go to DTD or a park. Tuesday morning is the same. .. I'm not sure where we will go. We have lunch ressies at Yak and Yeti for 3pm. Then, we go back to our resort, change into our costumes, and head to MK for MNSSHP! Our departure day is plan-less as well. We will simply catch up on anything we haven't done or anything we want to do one more time. We'll catch the ME around 4 or 5, I think.

Hope that helps!
Kristin

I had to laugh and agree with this! I homeschooled all three of my kids until they were in 9th, 7th, and 5th. They never did daycare or anything. When they started school, I was nervous for them, but it is sooooo nice to shop alone! :rotfl:

ONE WEEK!!!!! :yay:

Thanks Brook!!! I never do well with these transitions and the kids, it's so hard letting them go sometimes, they always seem to do better than their Mommy!!

That's it! The 582 trips to Target!:lmao::rotfl::lmao:

Still not watching the weather....I just can't bring myself to watch it.....:rolleyes1

Thanks for "getting it" Kristin....I'm so lucky too with our teachers, this is our 5th year at this preschool (the older two went there, too) and I just love them like my family. They know me now and not too much phases them!

Hope we are crossing paths at some point!:wizard:

That is so exciting! :yay:

A week from right now, I will be waking up in my bed at PORS!!!:cloud9:

I'll need to pull up my schedule, but when I checked out your plans, I don't think we were doing anyting similiar!:sad2: The 28th, we're in Epcot.....boo!!

Good Morning Friends!!:goodvibes

Just a quick update this morning, I just got the big boys on the bus, and Cole is watching MMCH, so I had a minute to post a quick update. Cole and I are off to Target for trip #....hmm.....212? :lmao: I'm sure there will be at least a handful more in the next
6 days!!!!!!! Our Target is in our mall, so I am hoping to stop by Famous Footwear, as well, I'm VERY stressed about MY shoes! My last trip I wore my Fit Flops, LOVED them, have had them a little over a year, can wear them all day long, have no issues but all of a sudden they are REALLY bothering me!:scared1: And now I'm worried a week away from our trip that I don't have comfy shoes! My running sneakers aren't great for all day long, my crocs are worn out.....AHHHHH! NOT what I needed to worry about now!:sad2: So we'll see what I can come up with. Fingers crossed I maybe find another pair of Fit Flops and we'll have no issues. :headache:

I haven't really checked anything more off our list of things to do...hoping to do so today, we don't have too much going on today. Yesterday I had Ruby all washed up and pretty for Grammy's house next week, tomorrow is my haircut. Slowly but surely.......

I thought I'd show you our countdown....look how close we really are!:cheer2:

I'm just as excited as Cole in this pic! :

I know I keep saying this but I just can't believe how close it really is!:dance3:

Hope you all have MAGICAL days!!!:wizard:

Cute picture of you & Cole!
There are not many Mickey Heads left to put a sticker on :cool1:

You should see my puny little countdown chain now! We can't even hang it up anymore because I can't reach it! So, it's sitting on my desk.

I went to Target today too. I think I'm there at least 3 or 4 times a week. Do you think they could just let me live in the backroom there?

So few Mickey heads left for stickers! :yay:

Good luck finding some shoes today. I bought some Keens before our last trip and LOVED them, they are perfect park touring shoes!
