Awwwwww such cute first day pictures!!! All of your boys are just adorable!!
Oh and re: the packing....I am a roller too :rotfl2: Have been doing it for years! I think it also makes for more room too....or maybe that is just in my mind ;)
:woohoo: for 2 weeks!!!! The best game ever!!!!!!!!! :thumbsup2

Tracy

Your kids look cute! I love the in two weeks game! Are you stalking the weather sites too? I sure am! :lmao:

Lucas looks so adorable!! That's nice that you still have 1/2 day K5. Ours is all day & it was hard for me & them going straight into full day!

Your boys look so grown up going to school!! I think I remember you said Cole starts preschool this week too? David starts tomorrow and I am a nervous wreck! (I should really be sleeping! :rotfl:) He's never been to daycare or anything so this is all new for us. I'll try to put some pics up on my PTR if I am not so nervous I forget to take them!

I can't believe you are down to 2 weeks!! So exciting! :dance3: This means we are at 16 days- wow, so much left to do!

I think I am going to try the rolling thing this trip too- never done it before. I'm also putting D's clothes in ziplocs and bringing wrinkle release spray. We'll see how it goes- I'm really the only one who cares about wrinkles in my family anyway!

Hi guys!

Hope you're having a great week! Today was Cole's 1st day at preschool! Well, it was orientation but his 1st time there. It went well, he was SO excited to go like his big brothers and he even insisted on bringing his empty backpack. So cute!:cutie: He'll start all by himself next Tuesday for 2.5 hours and again on Thursday, it's not much but nice for him to have something, too, to look forward to. I, of course, snapped a couple of pictures to share!!:cloud9: Here is my baby, looking more like a big boy these days....

SO excited to go!

I honestly can't believe that he's old enough to go to school, that was a the FASTEST 3 years of my life!!!:sad2:

Okay enough of that...time for the game!!!:dance3:

2 weeks from today, our 10 year anniversary! We will be waking up early for an early ressie for Chef Mickey's for breakfast, I think this is a great way to start off our 1st "real" day, meeting all of the characters! Our ressie is at 8:35 a.m. and I'm really hoping to have a DIS meet after this with Meghan and her family as we're crossing paths!! From there, we're heading to MK!!!:cheer2: We'll do as much as we can this day on the parks, we'll probably do a snacky type lunch and a counter service for dinner somewhere, either in the park or at "home" maybe pool side, depending how late we can push the kids. I can't wait!!!!!!:wizard:

Cole looks so cute! Glad he was excited to go to school like his brothers.

I was just talking about you to my DH tonight and that I hoped we'd be able to meet up! I can't wait! Chef Mickey's is our favorite place for breakfast (well, maybe it's tied with Crystal Palace).

Aww, thanks, Meghan!!

We need to concrete our plans, it's getting so close! We WILL meet up, we HAVE to!!! I'm so excited!!!:goodvibes

We did online check in last time and it was a breeze, very quick and easy. However as someone said with you getting in late, you probably wouldn't have a long wait anyway doing regular if you went that route.

For packing we have been know to roll, it keeps things less wrinkly. We have also done the bagged outfits for the kids and that worked well. In each Ziploc goes a whole outfit from undies to clothes to socks. They pick a bag and boom get dressed. Makes it quick and easy!

You are getting SO close!

Allyson

Thanks for the info, Allyson! I think you guys are right, with us getting in so late and with all my little requests, I'll just wait until I get there. I'm thinking I'll fax in a request a few days ahead of time just to reiterate our requests?:confused3

I like the idea of the ziploc bags for the kids!! Makes SO much sense!!!! That is ORGANIZED!!!!:thumbsup2 I think I may try this, thanks!!

I can't believe how close! All of a sudden, it's almost time!!!!!!!!:yay:

I'm thinking I should use this method for getting ready for work every day. The outfit-choosing drama that ensues every morning in my house is fodder for its own reality show. :sad2:

LOL!!!:lmao: I remember that, too, when I worked....oh, what a nightmare it would be getting ready for work everyday! I would come home to SUCH a mess!!!!

I love the back to school pics..so cute! I already know I'm going to be the mom that cries all day the first day of school. I dont know how moms can be so brave.

I had to drop my neice off at preschool and as she was crying and begging me to stay with her I almost lost it lol. I wanted to grab her and run out the door. Instead I had to walk out of the room and out the hall where I could still hear her crying and yelling my name. Needless to say I spent 15 minutes crying in my car I felt so bad. But of course when my sister picked her up at the end of the day she said she cried for about 3 minutes after I left and then was fine.

Oh...I am SO one of THOSE Moms!!! My boys are going to tell Todd at some point "leave Mom at home!" she's a basketcase!:rotfl: I am emotional anyways but then when it comes to my babies....there is no hope!!! They jsut amaze me and you hate to see them hurt or upset!!!:guilty: I'm dreading Tuesday when I drop Cole off for the 1st time at preschool and leave him for 2 1/2 hours....I know it's going to be so hard!!

Aww, your poor neice!!:sad2: Poor you!!! The teachers always say they stop crying 5 minutes after you leave....I can only hope that's the case next week! Not for just Cole but for me, too!!

Hey Kristen! I don't iron, either! The kids' outfits go in ziplocs. I take a small botytle of Wrinkle Releaser spray!!!

Loving this idea!!!! And so need to look into the Wrinkle release spray!!:thumbsup2

Hi Kristen!

I havent read your last TR yet but am all caught up on this PTR! You must be out of your mind crazy excited!

My DF and I are heading to WDW for his 1st trip in 52 days! It's also our 1st DVC trip (we just bought points last spring) and our 1st trip alone with no kids, and my 40th birthday! We are celebrating!! :goodvibes

I have a small PTR going as well if you are interested (see siggy below) and cant wait until I am a few more weeks in towards my date!!

I think going with your friends and their kids is such a good idea - since you have done it before and it looks like you all have the same idea of things. Such a great way to build memories! :goodvibes

I have subbed and will now go back and read your other TR! Nice to meet you!! :yay:

Oh yeah - I live in Winthrop! We're almost neighbors!

Hi there, neighbor!!!!:flower3:
So glad you found me and are here!!! I am beyond excited, I can't believe how close it is, all of sudden!!! Let's hope my week on vacation doesn't go as fast!!;)

Yay you for buying DVC!!!!! Completely jealous but so excited for you!! And yay for only 50 more days before you go!!!!!!!!!!!:cheer2: That will FLY by, I started my PTR at 45 days and here we are!!!! I think DIS helps the time go by even quicker!!:cloud9:

I hope you enjoy the last TR, what a magical trip that was, not sure anything can top it, but we're sure going to try!!:thumbsup2

Thanks again for being here!!:goodvibes

Look at Lucas so grown up and excited on his first day of school! My youngest was never nervous to go to school either, I had more reservations than he did

Can't wait to hear about the HDDR, I've never been - the show looks like something that we would enjoy, but I'm not so sure about the menu. So, I'm looking forward to your review!

Aww, thanks Michelle! Today is the true test, he will get on the bus himself today (with Ethan) and come home alone! I'm excited for him, he's so ready!!

I'm not sure about HDDR either, but looking forward to new experiences! I'll let you know!!:thumbsup2

Hey Tracy!
Thank you! The boys look so grown up to me this week!!! What a whirlwind of a week, though, I can't believe it's Friday!!!

Maybe I'll try the rolling for Todd and I....and more room is always good!!:thumbsup2

Your kids look cute! I love the in two weeks game! Are you stalking the weather sites too? I sure am! :lmao:

Thank you!!:cutie: I haven't started stalking the weather...I'm a bit afraid....but now that you mention it.....:rotfl:

Lucas looks so adorable!! That's nice that you still have 1/2 day K5. Ours is all day & it was hard for me & them going straight into full day!

I love the 1/2 day K....it's a big transition for full day from preschool! Nice to ease into things, I think! I can't imagine how hard it was for you, too!

Hi!! Coley started yesterday....Tuesday will be the true test us though, since I was with him yesterday. How did David do, and Mommy?? I'm with you, I'm a nervous wreck, too, and know how much I'm going to miss him! He's been my sidekick for the last 3 years...it's always Cole and I. Time just goes by too fast! Hope things went well for you!! And that you post pics!!

I know, it's SO CLOSE! And i'm with you, soooo much to do! I still need to make my list!!

I just have to say thank you for posting that Yapta site a while back- I got a $172 voucher back from Jet Blue today!! I never would have known without that site- and right after I got off the phone with them I checked the prices again and they had gone up by like $150! Crazy!

David did great at preschool. He didn't want to come home when I got there to pick him up! And all day he's said "I want to go to school!" I guess he had fun! :rotfl: I did put some pics up on my report if you want to see them!

congrats on all the first days!!! Soo exciting! Ton answer questions from before: We were married in oct of 04' then spend two weeks in port orleans riverside,,,,,great 2weeks :)

Ooooh, I love all the "1st Day" pictures!! How is school going for each of them? So far, so good?

I know we have discussed this before, but I'm blanking...when is Cole's birthday? Is he young for his class still being 3, or is that norm around where you live? I will start Henry next year (gulp!), he'll be just barely 4 - the cutoff here is December, so he'll have 3 year old classmates, but they won't be too far behind him.

:cool2:pirate::cool1::cool1: These are for Cole....he picked them out to share!;)

Cool dude, pirate guy, dance, dance. :goodvibes

I had to pop by and say......in 3 weeks I'll be in Disney World!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Less than that now!! I'm slowly catching up with your PTR as a multi-task at home ... :)

I thought I'd share some of the things I'm MOST looking forward to this time around! In no particular order.....

2. seeing Cole's reaction to all of this, the last two trips he was so little, this time, I think he'll just "get it"!:wizard:

What are the odds your vision is gonna get really blurry when you see him "get it" ... ??!!? :lovestruc

6. swimming in the pools, maybe even night swimming after being at the park all day, thanks, LL!;)

:thumbsup2 ... and try jumping in the pool first thing in the morning, too ...

7. FOOD! We have some yummy meals planned!popcorn::

Boma? Boma? Boma??? :lmao:

10. all the new memories we'll be creating together and all the pictures we'll capture to remind us of our vacation!!!:cloud9:

... and don't forget to finish your TR this time!! (Like I should talk ... :rotfl2:)

I'll be back ...
