Tren-D has so many beautiful pieces of jewelry. I don't know if they'll have it anymore, but I'm sure you'll be able to find something you like. I could spend hours in that store!

Note the glass red bead, my middle son, Lucas, picked that out for me at Christmas because he thought it looked like Mickey (even though they are a flower design), I'm training him right!!

It's surprising that the park opens so early during the slow season...is it EMH that morning too? I think you should be okay with the FPs. During NYE week they lasted about 2 hours I believe, so during a slower season they should last at least 3 or 4, right?

Where is the Flatbread Grille? We've eaten at the CS right next to HISTK, I think the Backlot Express, but they recently changed their menu - I've heard a couple good things about it. POR poolside sounds really nice though!

Good Morning my DIS friends!

I hope you're all having a wonderful weekend!! Yesterday we spent the day at the Roger Williams Zoo in Rhode Island, it was the PERFECT day for it, sunny with a nice cool breeze!! We have a family membership that we bought with the money Todds parents gave us at Christmastime for the kids, she always asks us to get them something special and I like using them on memberships so that we can enjoy something all year long. Anyways, thought I'd share a pic of the kids....the background reminds me of somewhere in Epcot. Can you tell I have Disney on the brain or what?

And with that....our second day at Epcot plans!

The hours are 8-9 EMG this day, we plan to have a snack breakfast and then off to Epcot. Our plan is to finish what we didn't the other day, whether it's Kim Possible and the World Showcase or just do a little of everything. I'd like to look into the Disney Visa Photo op some more, anyone do this before? Tips, thoughts? This day we have two ressies.....one I booked at 180 days at San Angel Inn in Mexico, I love the atmosphere here, we love the boat ride with Donald beforehand, the volcano, the dark cooler temps and feeling like we're in Mexico! We have 12:30 ressies this day. BUT....we also have ressies at 11:30 at Via Napoli!!! I called last week when they started taking reservations and managed to get us booked for lunch this day, too! I was so excited!!! I know, I need to cancel one, just not sure what to do. From what I've read, we need to try Via Napoli...but Adam isnt so sure about us using our TS for pizza....I think it's nice to try something new and since it just opened, it would be fun! Obviously, we need to come to a conclusion soon.

With this being our last night....it would be nice to have a special night, haven't given much thought as to what we'll do. Any suggestions? We don't have hopper passes, so we're stuck in Epcot for this day. BUT if we don't end up going to MK on our "down" day...technically we have one day left to go someplace else, right?! Hmm.....

Love the Epcot plans...low key but, sounds like you'll get to squeeze everything in! Nice! I think the kids would LOVE Kim Possible. We ate in France, in 2009 and sat outside at the bakery and we must have been right under a target because every two minutes there were kids with "walkie-talkie" thingies running up and using their controls. It was cute...mine were looking at me like "Mom?!? What is this that they're doing...that YOU don't know about?!?" Once we got home, we realized what it was and it's definately on our list for next time.
Not sure about which ressie to keep or not...Mexico is so good, so pretty...and inside and cool...a must have for September. But, Via Napoli...has it actually opened yet? Are there reviews yet?
Just to let you know...you're still killing me with the bracelets!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Definately get the Visa pic!!!! I believe the times are 1:30-4:30pm each day and it's located inside Innoventions (if you're just entering the park, it's the Innoventions to your right), but a CM can direct you to it quite easily. Make sure you have your Disney Visa with you because they check it. In Jan, we got to see Mickey & Minnie together and in June we saw Minnie & Goofy. The photopass photographers take a bunch of pics (your family entering the room, getting hugs from the characters, etc). Then, before you leave the park, go to the Camera Center (located under SE) to pick out your photo (you can even add a border!). We've gotten some great photos there.

I obviously would pick Via Napoli (since we have an ADR there too) and we're not big into Mexican food. Plus, I always like trying out a new place, but going back to the old favs is nice too.

Which day of the week are you on now? I've lost track...is it Monday? Hmm....I don't remember where we'll be that day, but it's not Epcot (we're there Fri and Sat).

we got a bit of mail today, thanks to one of my favorite DISers, Kimmy! THANK YOU, Kimmy! The boys LOVED their Mickey mail today!!!

That's awesome! I remember when we were going on our first cruise, a DISer sent the kids a postcard and they absolutely loved it! They probably wouldn't get too excited now...

I'm concerned about crowd expectations that day, opening at 7:00 am....usually 8 or 9 is more normal during September. Hopefully it doesn't mean a crazy day at DHS!

I think the place we usually eat is actually the Flatbread Grille! It's right by HISTK and the Backlot Tour. BE is over by Star Tours, right? I think the new name for the FG is the Studio Catering Company. I think...!

As for the Epcot plans, looks like a great day to me! Will the new Mexico TS be open by the time you are there? It is supposed to be open sometime in September, so I'm wondering if your San Angel ressie will automatically transfer to the new place if it's open? That could be really fun to try. If it's not open yet I'd want Via Napoli just because it's new.

Hey Kristen, I'm here! It took your PTR to get me back to the DIS after a VERY long abscence!

Just read it all! So excited for you guys!

My random thoughts:

1. Roger Williams Zoo, that has to be over by the Marco Polo section entrance right, by the Camels? I ALWAYS say that part reminds me of being at Disney! LOL!

2. Love your Pandora bracelet! So pretty!

3. I've been told the same thing, you can't use another day's ticket to go to a different park. Only way you can hop would be to have the hopper feature.

4. Cassidy and I did a couple of Kim Possible missions last year. We didn't love it but it had just stopped downpouring and everyone was in the same area after having come out from hiding from the rain. So we were surrounded by people working on the same mission at different points and a lot of the suprises were sort of ruined before we got to them. Hard to explain but it made it not as fun as it might normally be.

5. I would try the new Italian place! Fun to get to try something new!

6. I would go for the Soarin' FP first before the TT ones.

7. Is One Man's Dream closed for good?? Say it isn't so! Hoping it is just a rehab or something. I love that.

This will be quick, I apologize for not updating these last couple of days, we had a busy weekend and then yesterday and today we've been making our way to the beach ALL day long. We're trying to soak up as much of that time as we can before the boys start school!
