Goin' to see the Mouse for Spring Break~just me and Fiance at POP-Update 3/20

I can't wait to try POP for the first time! MeMom is always gracious with POP pics so I can never get enough of them!

I'm going to give you a very good walk-thru when we go in a few weeks. :thumbsup2 You should be able to feel like you've been there before and find your way around very easily by the time you're finished with my 'tinkgurl tour'!

That is so awesome that you take such good care of your cousin that way. I like how your family has come together. I can totally see how you'd feel like he's yours. I imagine there is a wonderful bond there. :goodvibes

Oh this is a good one! test track

Of course, it’s Test Track! I can’t help but get nervous every time we’re at the part where we’re about to “hit” the doors to go outside. LOL. And of course, we have to stop and look around at the cars for B/F. Here’s what the WDW website has to say about it:

“Test Track Attraction at Epcot theme park is a high-speed vehicle-simulation ride in which big kids, teens and adults test their mettle in one of Disney's longest and fastest rides.
Step into the world of automotive testing as your 6-seat vehicle undergoes the safety and quality tests that General Motors performs on every prototype it manufactures.
As you begin this 5-minute, nearly one-mile auto escapade, strap yourself in, ascend steep terrain that's 3 stories high, then let loose downhill, blasting across a bumpy road and roaring through 50-degree banked curves and hair-pin turns that test suspension and brakes at speeds up to 60 miles per hour!
Zoom into the environmental chamber to endure the extreme heat and cold tests—at temperatures that are 100 degrees apart! Then, see if your vehicle will withstand corrosion when robots mist water upon it. Finally, face the challenge of avoiding a crash barrier… in the nick of time! “

There’s nowhere else you can get THAT close to fireworks!

YOU ROCK!! That is so cool you are graduating this weekend!!! I'll bet you look fabulous in your c&g!! You will post pix, right?!

Aw thanks! Of course I'll be sharing pics! I'll probably post them when I do my year in review.

Did I read somewhere you are graduating this weekend????????? :scratchin

Yep, I am!

Aw a Tinkgurl Tour?! Thanks MeMom!

Thanks. He definately has become "my little guy". We talk just about every day when I'm up at school..Grandma and I text back and forth and she tells him what I say and she tells me what he says. We do have to laugh though, him and I are the only ones besides Grandpa to have blonde hair in the family. So Mom always says that he can definately go for being mine. You'll see more pics of him when I do my year in review.

Aw, I can't wait!

i'm gonna take a wild guess here and say soarin'. that's all i can think of because you get so close to the fireworks as you fly over disneyland.

hey you! sorry im so lame lately! of course I have the same excuse as any other mom this time of year..life is nuts! i'm catching up though!

Ahhhh... my morning coffee with Tinkgurl!! Nice.

Ok. My guess is going to be Soarin' since you bolded THAT. I almost went with an Illuminations Cruise, but I don't remember you doing that last year. and you've never mentioned it before anywhere else.

Hey girl!! I'm still here!! Man, I miss being able to get on the Dis at work! I'm missing out on so much!! Hope you are having a good week!! Any fun plans for stuff this Christmas season? Has your little guy been to see Santa yet?

Hey girl. I miss you being on here more!!

Ugh, this week has been interesting! Monday-got cap and gown for graduation Saturday! Tuesday night/Yesterday-got hit with a blizzard..they even closed down campus! So no classes for us yesterday!

We actually took the little guy this past Saturday to see Santa at the mall..He was fine in line...until it was our turn. He was shy. He made me sit on Santa's lap and Sis had to sit on his other knee and then he sat on us. But he did finally tell Santa what he wanted after Santa gave him some Starbursts. Gotta love being able to bribe kids with candy!

Oooh good guesses! Sorry I stumped some of you. It’s Soarin’! I love the feeling of almost being able to dip our feet in the water…and the smell of the orange groves..Definitely best in the front row! Here’s what the WDW website has to say:

“Soarin' is a multi-sensory attraction for big kids, teens and adults in Epcot theme park that simulates a peaceful hang-gliding flight over the Golden State of California.
Fasten your seat belt on the multi-passenger glider and be lifted 40 feet into the air. Swoop up and soar towards the clouds and spectacular California panoramas. An IMAX projection dome wraps 180 degrees around you, so you're engulfed by the impressive scenery.
Special cameras on airplanes and helicopters captured many of the shots and the glider moves the same way the aircraft did, so you really feel like you're flying as you glide over such awe-inspiring vistas and landmarks as :
• San Francisco
• Golden Gate Bridge
• Redwood Creek
• Napa Valley
• Monterey
• Lake Tahoe
• Yosemite National Park
• Camarillo
• Anaza-Borrego Desert State Park
• San Diego
• Malibu
• Los Angeles
Get a bird's-eye view over a PGA West golf tournament, a skiing and snowboarding exhibition, and float above cowboys on horseback as they race through the wilderness.
Feel the wind in your hair. The air fills with the scent of orange groves, evergreens and the sea breeze. Your feet dangle free. Dip down so close to the crashing waves of the Pacific Ocean, you think your toes will get wet. Then return to the sky and continue on Soarin' to a fantastic finale where fireworks burst into sensational colors around you.”
