Jersey Freeze? (Sorry, that is just one of my favorite places) Also the Freehold Mall has the carousel, which I know my son likes.

I didn't realize there was a Rain Forest Cafe at Menlo. That could be fun. If we were in NJ I would probably come (Menlo or Freehold), but the chances of that are pretty small.

NikkiBell, I assume you mean the Rainforest Cafe at Menlo Park? That's a great idea ... it'll remind us somewhat of Disney. I'm trying to think off the top of my head a meeting place at Freehold, the thing that comes to mind is that Carousel in the Food Court ...

but yeah, i think my vote is for the rainforest cafe at menlo.

I just happened to see the NJ Meet in the title, and jumped over to take a look.

Heading to Disney in 3 weeks and meeting Dis'ers there, it would be nice to meet Dis'ers in my home state too!

I second Jersey Freeze! Heheh yum! I met Bruce Springsteen there 5 years ago! Freehold mall is also super close for me. I am trying to think of some sort of place where you could actually make a reservation or inexpensively reserve a group space. A Diner? That's very jersey! Or if it's still nice out we can all meet at like a park... There is Holmdel park which is real nice and has a Farm.

Rainforest cafe would be nice, but we could only make it on the weekend. No way to get there during the week.

Watching this from NYC. Not sure how far all these venues are from me. (Is Willowbrook mall to far?)

But, if I could swing the trip, I'd vote for a Sunday.

I live just outside Belvidere (Warren County NJ), just across the Delaware River - Edison is about 1 hour 20 minutes from Bushkill, it's about an hour from where I am. It's the closest of the places mentioned.

Okay, Rainforest Cafe it is! The restaurant is located in Menlo Park Mall which I think is a beautiful place to eat and shop. There's lots of great stores there and yes, they do have a Disney Store.

I think Sunday sounds like a safe day for everyone. When's Labor Day? I don't have a calendar.

Freehold the town is just to the west of the part of NJ where the shore points are. Does that make any sense?

Since a picture is worth a thousand words, it's where the A is on this map.

You can see Edison (where Menlo Park Mall is) to the north & west of Freehold.

Just be sure if your looking for the freehold mall you call it freehold raceway mall its actual name. They have a horse track there. My grandmother took a bus to visit us and went to the freehold mall where we told her we'd meet her and they took her to a strip mall called the freehold mall that was a few miles down the road from the real freehold raceway mall that she really wanted to meet us at.
