I've been a Steelers fan since I was a teenager, over 40 years. I can NOT STAND the Steelers QB. He's a date rapist and he should have gone to jail. I feel bad for turning my back on the rest of the team but I can not stand the thought of him getting honored in the Super Bowl. He has dead eyes and accepts no responsibility for what he did or has done. So, I'm rooting for the Jets!!! My son and my husband feel the same way. I'm proud of my 15yo son, he recognizes when a man is a coward/liar by listening to him talk.

Yeah, well that's your opinion. When the Sportscenter folks talk about the Steelers, the QB is usually the topic-how the defense defends him, how he runs the offense, his yards run, yards passed. He IS the leader of the team. AND it would be the QB who says "I'm going to Walt Disney World!" Date rape is never an 'old' subject. Little Ben is a LOSER so I guess you'll be cheering for a loser too.
I can not cheer for someone I do not respect.

He's a loser in your opinion, not mine. He was never convicted and unless you were there , which I'm assuming you were not u have no clue what really happened. There's people here in the city that still don't like Ben including my BFF I went to the game with yesterday, but we still love our team. Me personally, I still love Ben and the Steelers

We are the winners and are going to the SUPERBOWL!!! I was there cheering them on in 4 degree temperature. I think I'm finally thawed out.

And speaking of Jets, what a class act some of their fans where down at Heinz Field yesterday...........NOT!

I personally don't like the arrogance of Mike Tomlin (he is an excellent coach though) and I can't stand the likes of James Harrison and his filthy play. As for little Ben: I usually belive where there's smoke there's fire (twice now). Now Troy Polamalu on the other is an example that you can play the game hard and aggressive and still play it cleanly.

But with that said, I do have to give credit to the Steelers. Prior to 1972 they were pathetic in every sense of the word. But since 1972 they have only had six losing seasons and since 1968 they have only had three head coaches; and you can't forget the rings..

Perhaps, I'm just a disgruntled life long Browns fan, but I still can't stand the Steelers and Steeler Nation. But with that said, there is no denying they are the best franchise in the NFL if not in all of sports.

I'm so glad the Steelers won! Oh, I'm no band wagon fan though. I've been a fan for years. I'm originally from Los Angeles and there was no way in hell I'd cheer for the Raiders when they were there. And the Rams were technically an Orange County team. So I somehow became ar Steeler fan.

Say what you will about Ben, but he knows how to play football! I personally do not look to athletes for role models anyway. All I care about is what they do on the field. So, I will be cheering loudly for the Steelers in the Super Bowl, especially for fellow-trojan Troy Polamalu!

I seen your post on the other thread. Takes alot for a Browns fan to admit what you did,

We don't expect a Browns fan to cheer for us and we wouldn't cheer for the Browns (even if they gave us a reason to) .
