Any Illini fans going to be watching the game this coming Thursday? We're champaign, Illinois fans who will be at Disney next week. We're thinking ESPN at the Boardwalk.

ILL....

We won't be at WDW this week but watching from ESPN sounds like fun.

My DH, DS1 and his fiancee and our DD were all at the game today. Looking better again, I thought.

One of our BILs is a WV grad. He must be so excited tonight!

Back on topic...what do you think you will order at ESPN? ;)

And just one other thing...the coach's brother HS team won the Illinois championship tonight. One win for a Weber...hopefully another in a couple of weeks. :goodvibes

I wonder what the teams would order? I've always heard the wings are good at ESPN. ;)

I hope your team goes way farther than mine did :sad2: :headache:  My bracket is a mess :scared1: If you go to ESPN, let me know how the food is, we are going there in June. :)

:rotfl2: Thanks for keeping this post on topic. ;)

If you are looking for suggestions, I love the nachos at ESPN! They always make a good drink too. ;)

Is ESPN just a bar or kind of a dining room/bar set-up?

Thanks,
penny

And of course, Go UCONN Huskies!
We here in Connecticut love our smart, strong young women players and the men aren't too bad either. ;)

We've only eaten there once but there are two sides. I think the one on the right as you enter is a large bar area but my memory of that side is hazy.

We sat on the left side which has tables in sort of tiers.

Camcolt, are the nachos individually prepared or just in one big pile?

Penny, both your teams play today, right? The Illini women aren't in the tournament but Notre Dame is still in it so I'm cheering for them. :cool1:

You are correct. The bar area is on the right. There are seats at the bar where you can dine or just drink, along with booths along the wall, and some tables with tall chairs in the area too.

As for the nachos they come as a big platter. Theres plenty to share as an appetizer/snack or to have as a whole meal(and still share some,LOL!). They come loaded with melted cheese and flavored beef(almost like taco meat). I usually order them with just that and ask for the pico de gallo and sour cream on the side. They will put that on top if you dont specify separate.

Thanks guys. There must be a menu on Deb Will's site. I always just think of it as a bar.

UCONN men were eliminated by NC State so I guess I'm looking for another team to root for. We sure did love that segment on CBS Sunday Morning last week with Bill Geist, a life-long Illini fan!

It's just that color orange... It smacks of Pat Summit's Tennesse team. ;) And goodness knows, we UCONN fans have a wild rivalry going with the Lady Vols! When the weather is so bleak in March, it's fun to follow the games, whether our team wins or not.

:worship: LOVE PAT AND THE LADY VOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AND LOVE THE ILLINI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (my DD will be going there next year)

And love that Lady Vols and UConn rivalry.

What's your address Penny? I know what to send you for Christmas. :teeth:

I'm an Illinois State Redbird myself...I can't decide whether to root for or against the Illini!

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Wouldn't it be fun to be at WDW AND get together to watch some basketball?

I would like to try the MVP (I'm pretty sure it's not an orange colored drink!!!, right Alice Sr.? I'm wondering what Christmas gift you had in mind!) and how about that grilled tuna sandwich?

What's everybody's favorite menu item at ESPN?
