I forgot to say that, didn't I? A goldfinch. They remind me of my grandmother. It would be very teeny tiny but that is what I would get. This is not Ursula of course. I saw a goldfinch at her funeral, and it always seems when I'm having a tough time or thinking of her I see them. So I just connect them with her.

That is so sweet!

So I went to the library yesterday and picked up more Lisa Scottoline books. I finished one yesterday and I'm already on the second. Her books are so good!

I am going to suggest her to my book club on Wednesday -- it sounds like the perfect thing for my picky group. What was the name of the book you just read about the missing child? I am too lazy to go back a few pages and find it.

hey girls! still no internet in our house and it's driving me crazy!!

no tatoos here although I've always wanted one. I naever got one when I was younger because I only wanted something that I knew would be meaningful for my whole life and I could never figure out what that might be. Now I know what I want but Greg hates tatoos. Maybe if he won't agree to Disney for my 40th b-day, I'll do that instead LOL. Both of my boys loved the song "You are my sunshine" when they were babies so I want a sun with their names in it's rays , probably on my shoulder

Austin, is wonderful, really going to like living here!! People have been so friendly and kind!!! Went out and found all the lakes and parks yesterday so Phillip would know where to fish LOL!!! IT was a great afternoon!

Just saw what I think was an extended trailer for the new Harry Potter movie on ABC Family. It looks so cool! I'm such a nerd. But I think I may have to go back and read the book again.

I've been watching Harry Potter all day. I'm SO EXCITED for November 19th. I just can't wait. I'm debating taking the day off to go see it.

C, I'm listening to all the HP books again in the car to gear up. I'm on Chamber of Secrets right now.

What a great idea! I spend at least 4 hours a week in the car commuting... that would be perfect. Do you like the narrator? Sometimes that makes a big difference.

I have to go see if they have the audio books at the library!

Jim Dale does all of the HP books and he is AMAZING! He has voices for all the characters and he does them so well. I love listening to his voice.

Still waiting on word on a renter for our home in PCola and a job for Phillip, but surprisingly I'm not stressing too much over it, leaving it in God's hands and knowing that it will all work out in HIS timing not Mine!! (Not an easy lesson to learn, but I'm trying)!!

LOL!! Well its true! I haven't done much of anything this morning and it has been delightful!!! Just sitting here in the room chilling out LOL!!!!

Blake and I saw Toy Story 3 tonight, oh gosh it was awesome!! We both totally loved it! LOVED Bonney! Had our Disney warm and fuzzies for the length of the movie and yet, here I am back from the movie and already looking at the disney menus on allears

So, here's my job situation woes. Ok, not liking my job much anymore, I'm getting underpaid for the amount of work I'm doing and the amount of education and experience that I have working with fish. I want to change jobs, but I can hang in there until a new one comes, no rush. However. Blake's job ends October 1st. NASA got a budget cut and they can't keep his job past then. His boss just told him about a NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration for those of us not biology geeks) job that is available. It would be full time, paid, not contractual like he is now, with benefits. Problem? It's back in Maryland where we used to live. His boss told him that is he decides to interview, he doesn't want the guy's time wasted because he's already told him about Blake and he would be a good match for it. Blake does have a few more opportunities down here, but NOAA is what we both want to eventually get into. So. Our lease isn't up until Christmas Day. I really don't want to move BACK to Maryland, I'm already stressed out thinking about the possibility of having to quit my job and me not being able to find another one at this time, plus the move. We've only been here for 9 months. I'm not ready to leave yet. I really hope something else comes up, but I know it could possibily be a good opportunity for Blake... OTTV!
