You guys are TOO funny! yep it's true. "My" entrance is now rightfully mine as I own a home there! . Really small contract purchased through resale but it is a start! When I looked at what I spent last Oct and planned to this Oct it was already half the cost of a contract!! A few fuzzy DIS math calculations later, here I am!! Hopefully I don't regret it!

So anyone want to come over to my house?

Thanks, gals! I'm excited. But why is it that as soon as you make a "big" purchase you suddenly have other unexpected expenses?? Woke up this morning to no heat. Lovely. Awaiting a technician to inspect the problem. Hoping it is not $$$$$.

the last 2 times my furnace went out...1 time was cheap(<$100) the other was about $700

The only reason it was so expensive.... I ran outta oil lol!! oops!

... it pours. As long as having a tech come look at my heat figured I'd have someone look at my garbage disposal that has been leaking. Last time that was a quick inexpensive fix.

Plumber is my first visitor today and I need a new garbage disposal. Those suckers are $600!!!!!!!!!!

Pray the heat isn't the same situation.

I'd get a second opinion on the disposal! Last time we replaced ours, it wasn't anywhere near that expensive. Granted, Greg installed it but the disposal itself was only around $150. Does the Doctor do plumbing? (OK, I really just was curious how things were going with him)

Sorry I've been MIA for a few days....I'm using the computer at my mum's as my home currently has no working computers....my laptop went kaput...and I went away for the weekend and came home to find out my cousin's did too...now we're waiting on set up of a desktop....

Hope everyone is doing well! P.S. C - the last time my furnace wouldn't work, it turned out I hadn't closed the little door all the way after replacing the filter! Duh!

I'm so ready for the weekend too!!!! I don't have any exciting plans tonight...probably going to go on the date with the laundry room since you're not LOL!!!!!

Tomorrow I have a morning activity with my teens at church but besides that I'm hoping for a quiet Saturday where I can get some things accomplished in my house!

Tomorrow we were going to see my parents and go shopping for the new apartment but I don't know if I'm going to do that anymore.

Happy Friday girls! I got called to sub today, only the 4th time this month. It is gonna be a small paycheck...BOO!! I am in a geography class today, luckily they have been really nice classes so far

No fun plans for the weekend. Probably pizza and movies at home tonight. The laundry date can wait
