Thanks girls!

My surgery is at 9:15 and I have to be there at 7:45. They promised me as soon as they took me in and got the iv in they would give me some happy time meds so I am hoping by 8AM I am blissed out an unaware of what is going on.

A lot of my relatives are sending me emails this morning which is lovely but they are all making me cry. Especially the one from my Aunt telling me my grandmother will be watching over me tomorrow! Don't they know I'm a weeper? A major weepah!?

I am a bundle of nerves this morning. I am hoping like yesterday that I will calm down as the day progresses. I call at 9 to see what time my surgery is.

Are you feeling better yet? Poor baby -- I would be a bundle of nerves as well!

That's okay...I can't access FB at work either.

Marc is going with me. I believe once I'm taken in though that he stays out in the waiting room. I think it's better that way. If I'm alone I have to be brave. My parents wanted to see me before I got into surgery but honestly that feels too much like a goodbye to me and I just want to go in. I'm going to be a mess. I'm already crying at the drop of a hat so if My Mom and Dad are there I am going to be even worse with the crying. I've made Marc promise that we will have quick goodbye. If I cried when he dropped me off at the airport I can't even begin to imagine how weepy I will be before surgery. He's told me he's going to give me a high five and say "See ya in an hour".

Thank you, Katie! I was wondering how LL's surgery had gone and was hating the fact that I would have to wait until I got home.

I am so glad things went smoothly!

Yup Yup...I was about say Marc sent me a text about 9:50am my time...letting me know that everything went very well and that she is in recovery!! I was very very happy to get this text!!! I will be calling him after school this afternoon and getting another update!

Hi everyone. This is LL's co-worker. We just heard from LL herself. Hear is what she told us---

She is up and walking around. She is feeling great and is in very little pain. She is still on track to come home tomorrow.



I know she appreciates all the good wishes and prayers for her recovery.

I am sure going to miss her while she is out.

I'm talking to LL right now and she is in good spirits!! She has been able to sit up and is anxious to get home!!! We have bets on how soon she'll be returning to the DIS boards...LOL!!!!! She's a little nervous about the diet, but we all know she is going to do fabulously!!!! She says she loves us all!!!!

Let's see, assuming she is discharged around 10, home by 10:15, settled in by 10:30...I'm going with 10:35
