Hi all! My parents are here! The weather station told them to have all travel done by noon today because the Blizzard hit. They're supposed to get 24-36 inches tonight through tomorrow (3 inches per hour plus 40 mph winds) and possible 3-6 foot snow drifts!! Yikes!! They're only calling for 1-3 inches for us, most of it tonight is rain, so hopefully they may be getting stranded here for a few extra days. Hope you all are hanging in there! Miss you!

P.S. Anyone hear from P? Or know when she's getting back? I know that Baltimore cancelled all their southwest flights and I know she lives slightly above us. Hope you're safe P wherever you are!

Marc promised me I wouldn't have to lift a single paint brush since I didn't care if we painted the new apartment or not.

Well, he enlisted the help of my Mom and MIL so I can't very well let them all go paint today and stay home and catch up on my DVR.

Bah.

Jess, I think P left on Wednesday. Not sure though.

Sure you could, LL! I would do that in a heartbeat. I am not a fan of painting either which is why I have been putting it off lately. I would love to just be able to wave a magic wand and have everything magically repainted.

Can't believe how much snow they are getting in the Maryland/Virginia area. So glad it is missing us. I think LL is right, Paula left ~ Wed morning.

Mine came Thursday so yours should be arriving any day now. It has a big 70 on the cover and all sorts of images from Disney movies. Very cute.

I have retired my paint brush and plan to do nothing for the rest of the weekend.

I enjoyed reading my D23 during parking lot duty!! It's still pretty chilly outside and I'm still getting over my cold...but the good news...I'm off on Monday! Working on the house...but I'm off WOOT!!!!

Yogurt for breakfast and McDonalds for lunch: grilled chicken sandwich, no bacon, no cheese, no mayo (and let me say...the friers smelled SO good!). Day 2 of 30 day challenge done (skipped 2 days because the lunges are killer on my wimpy quads!!). I'm worried about the next week because PMS always makes me snack like crazy

LL, I'm not a big fan of painting either. I have already recruited my Mom when she returns in the spring to come help me paint the house to prepare it for sale.

My cousin just reported on Facebook that he is stuck in Orlando an extra night (was there for a conference but can't fly back into DC because of the weather) so he and his colleagues are headed to DTD and Cirque for the evening. Lucky jerk!!

ETA: Coupla Disney shows coming up this week. Sunday night at 6pm EST on FineLiving there is something called Disney Surprise Vacations. No idea what this is about? And then later in the week on Travel Channel is Samantha Brown's 10th anniversary. I don't know about y'all but I could use a dose or two of Disney!!

Good Morning Gnomies! Well I have today off so I'm going to be working around the house and trying to starve this nasty head cold...moved from my throat to my sinuses how kind of it!!

Have a good day off Jen and get some rest! My last cold started 2 weeks ago and I think it's finally about over!

We got another 2 inches of snow yesterday and the forecast for today is for another 8-11 inches with winds picking up overnight. They are getting the kids to school today but I am betting on an early out and at least a late start tomorrow (possibly another snow day)

At least it's not the 5 feet of snow they got in Baltimore
