See, now I was in college when 90210 was popular and I didn't have a TV so that is one that I honestly have never seen.

P, where are you hanging on the boards today? I tend to hang out mostly on TR's and occasionally wander over to the tips boards which can get a bit heated at times.

Does anyone have fun plans for the weekend? We have a back-to-school picnic for Greg's department tomorrow but that's it for us.

My gnomies are all very quiet this weekend!

After looking at the newspaper more closely yesterday, I am convinced the price listed for the house we like was a misprint (the house listed below it was the same price and the online listings still have the original price) I knew it was too good to be true!

A little hopeful news on the job front. I think I mentioned that 2 of Greg's co-workers had a meeting with the university people with the program that I am hoping to get the job with. I talked with them at a picnic last night and they said this is a new position, so nobody is in line to step into the job. They also indicated that the university people were concerned that after such a long delay, their prospective candidates would already have other jobs or no longer be interested. They mentioned my name to the director and insured her that I am indeed still interested and well qualified for the job and the director wrote my name down. Hopefully I will hear from her in the next couple days!

Good Morning Gnomies!

I'm waiting to be called into work today. I am so glad this conversion is over, it's been a year in the making. Though as soon as this week is over, we move into the new system upgrade. OY TO THE VEY!

I heard back from the cardiologist on Friday, well actually he talked to Marc since I was driving home from work. I can't believe how loose these doctors are with telling Marc information! Whatever though, my stress test results were just fine but he still hasn't gotten my echo-cardiogram results from the other hospital so he's waiting on those before he clears me. I have to call the weight loss program AGAIN to make sure they send them to him. I'm having my pre-surgical testing on Tuesday so I want to make sure everything is A-Ok before then.

I'm getting a bit more nervous about surgery. It's coming so fast! I don't feel like I'm ready but on the other side I don't know how to be more ready.

Katie, that job sounds promising! I looked at your vacation photos on Facebook, looks like you had a good time!

Jess, I finally finished your Sookie book. When you get back just PM your address and I'll get it sent to you. Thanks again!

Hi gang,

I am blissed out and relaxed. Just came back from having a massage. I had so many knots in my back I'm sure he was wondering what gets me so stressed out!

Katie - that sounds super promising on the job front. Fingers crossed it works out.

LL- forgot this was a work weekend. You sure do have a lot going on! But it is going to be SO worth it!

Hope the rest of the gnomies are doing well. It's a gorgeous summer day here so my next move is to catch some rays! And do a little DIS'ing.

ETA: for those of you interested in lower cal food options I just tried the Lean Cuisine Baja Chicken quesadilla. I thought it was really good!

Yes I have been a bit busy, Prince P got home yesterday and I wanted to make sure that all the laundry was done and hung up before we went back to school!! I also worked on my meal notecards and grocery shopped!!!!

Katie...I'll be crossing my fingers and praying for this job situation! I really hope this will come through for you!!!!!

C...enjoy the weekend and sunshine! It looks like I'm going to be dealing with a lot of rain in my future...yucky!!

LL...ugh sorry you have to work today...booo...I hope you won't have to work for too long! Yes your surgery is coming up quickly however it will be over soon and you will have no more stress over it!! YAY!!!

So Sunday mornings are my weigh in mornings and I lost another 4lbs this week. So I'm down 16lbs... I'm so excited!! Speaking of good Lean Cuisine meals their new Bacon Alfredo Pizza is very very yummy!! I give it

Okay so they sent me home.

They were unsure when the system was going to come back up and instead of paying me to sit there for hours doing nothing they sent me home and I just have to go in at 7 tomorrow. ABSOLUTELY! I think that is a fair trade off.

Drink lots of water!!!!! Find time to exercise (easier said than done LOL)!!! I just am very gung-ho right now about weight loss I really really want to be in better shape before the big move and before we decide to start a family!! That is my huge motivation...of course losing you know another 10lbs or so before Disney won't hurt anything either LOL!!!!

Ohh Lordy I am exhausted! I am sitting here with dye on my hair (no big change, just touching up!), and somehow, even with the gloves, I managed to get dye all over my hands. I think they put secret little holes in them to get you to use more vaseline! It's been busy with both jobs and I haven't had much time to myself...How is everyone?
